Thank you... you saved my life and sanity! My mom will now be able to hear her tv in her bedroom instead of staying up late to watch it on the tv downstairs :) I just got this tv for her and didn't think about the adjustments. I put it to Amplify :)
I have a Sony TV and Sony Soundbar. The volume level is frustrating. Constantly having to raise or lower the volume during the same program. Is there any fix for that issue?
Find me a soundbar that does not freeze video. As I have experienced recently this is not an uncommon issue. And that was after direct live support from LG to connect well to my Samsung TV. And changing DNS settings. Sent back the soundbar. Once removed...no more freezing. and that is using both Optical and HDMI options.........
None of these are my problem, When the TV is on Dolby you have to play it about as loud as it will go. You can turn it to non Dolby and the sound is twice as loud. and will run at 25 and be loud where as on Dolby it is on 50 and still isn't loud enough, Change it to the 2 other sound modes and it is over twice as loud. Great sound off Dolby. But when you change cannels it will turn it back to Dolby and you will have to go to sound and change it to one of the other two sounds. How can I get it to stay off Dolby all the time.

I have the same problem with a Vizio sound bar.
Probably a silly question, can you still use the TV's sound menus if you add a soundbar or does it make them redundant ? thanks for the clip.
Thanks your tips work by equalizing the sound👍🏻

Can’t find the Sound!!!
Very helpful
For the love of Christ people , put the Subwoofer setting to " 0". Putting above 1 gets too boomy.
