As broken as the realization of this imaginative construct might be... I'd kill to see a unique class of colossal weapons with quality build investments like 30 strength and 30 dex. Imagine the killer moveset you could get out of greatsword with another greatsword attached to the tip spinning around.

Did you hear about the reddit bounty board for invaders? Ahhh yes. Elden Bonk my favorite of all the builds. I love that Giant hammer. I just wish it changed the FOV slightly. People would use it for exploits probably but it is a fun weapon unless you are in a tight space.

That big hammer does an insane amount of damage, but it seems easy to avoid since it blocks the view of the user. And that area you spawned under the host? I thought you were just falling to your death. Horrendous glitch for someone who suffers from vertigo.
it blocking the view of the user slightly isn't even what makes it easy to avoid, it's really just slow. Gotta use it for fishing trades against good opponents
How do you guys deal with the hosts that have 2 phantoms and refuse to leave wherever they were hiding when you invaded? Like, a bull Goat and a mage and a dual spear wielder? I seriously hate invading in this game unless I'm just going for greatbow stuff. RL 160 btw

Honestly what would make colossals in this game feel great is to give them more fluid R1 animations. They look horrendous in this game, your character moves like he is abour to split himself in half by moving the blade around

Ok I need to say this. Aimpunch is NOT GONE. It is still a serious problem. I’ve never noticed it before, but . . . IN PVE I was playing with my favorite weapon, the serpent hunter, and there is nothing I love more than charging that l2 and seeing it land perfectly. However, while before it didn’t seem to happen much, I actually DIED in a boss fight, because a trade I was going to make was interrupted by a throwing star. Yes, a throwing star. I didn’t get staggered, but my l2 went to the side, the trade didn’t happen, the enemy didn’t die, and so I did, all because of that flinching animation. Then later against Anastasia it happened again, but I got her with the follow up. I imagine this thus also happens with colossal weapons, which also are slow and rely heavily on trading. Fromsoft plz don’t think “we fixed it!”, and don’t ever address it again :( This is a serious issue almost in my opinion on par with glitches like estus canceling. It outright makes multiple moves and trading obsolete in many cases. I don’t know how it is persisting after they supposedly fixed it (maybe it is more likely to happen if you get flinched by an opponent who is not the one you’re currently targeting?), but they need to do a serious crackdown on it asap. I PRAY that the dlc isn’t going to make them ignore or miss this persisting bug.
