Hello, have you ever heard of Lisa Fischer? Especially her song "How Can I Ease the Pain?" I would love to hear your breakdown of that song/her style if possible. Thank you.
I have been an opera lover for 50 years and I am blown away by this woman's vocal technique! This is found among professional opera singers and rarely among pop music singers. She is extraordinary! I understand better now that I know that his mother was a soprano and lyrical singing teacher and his father a great musician. She was taught in the most advanced singing techniques at a very young age, which she integrated from a very young age. We feel it in his technique of relaxing his speech apparatus and in his pronunciation. Unlike others, she does not force her voice because she knows how to breathe to send the sound effortlessly, with a rare breadth in this type of singing. His voice is not nasal like many who force their voice, it is warm in the bass and clear in the high notes. It's absolutely magnificent and extraordinary...
One of my favourite live vocals ever. Loren absolutely smashed this. Her vocal agility is beautiful. The little extra riffs were beautifully placed and pin-sharp. But her vocal control is just incredible. The depth at the start, to the effortless chest-belting, she's just AMAZING. Nobody will ever, ever come close to Loren's original vocal here. I've seen good covers, but they just don't have that special extra something that Loren has in her tone. Just gorgeous.
@@brunodemarchi908 Not even close for me. While Morisette is a technically good singer, I find a lot of her performances completely devoid of any real emotion. She’s just hitting notes. Loren owns this song.

@@paulmilligan83 Loren is one of my favourite vocalists and I have been following her for years, even before BGT (I've been watching David Foster's tours for over 10 years). But I must say that you are wrong to devalue the emotional transference of Morissette's vocal performances. I've been following Morissette since she was a teen. With respect, I don't think you've even watched any of Morissette's latest performances let alone her original, self composed songs. From my evaluation, both Loren and Morissette are in the rare category of vocalists that are able to maintain the richness of their tone in the upper range of their voice. But, Morissette, currently 26 years old, is the more technically gifted vocalist, with greater extensions in her lower range, as well as upper range. Both are gifted, but my point is, you may have to re-evaluate your take on Morissette's emotional transference. Here is a raw clip of Morissette singing "Never Enough" in her concert, singing in a setting that allowed for more emotional transference: th-cam.com/video/avmkrrOPkHI/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
@@brunodemarchi908 You know that's all your opinion right? I prefer Loren, you prefer Morissette. It is what it is. There's no need to get unpleasant about it. This is after all, a video about Loren, not Morissette.
Loren Allred auditioned for Britain's Got Talent this year and did Never Enough for the first round. Her performance was spectacular, but I found it interesting that she decided to go on a talent show to "be discovered" despite singing for The Greatest Showman (a HUGE movie). You would think she already had a lot of opportunities with that voice!
That BGT appearance was staged for ratings. They knew full well who she was. David Foster (the super producer playing piano in this video) is a friend of Simon Cowell’s. The show got the ratings and Lauren got more exposure. They did it in England because she’s actually fairly well known in the US. When Andrea Bocelli toured the US last year she was part of the tour. I saw him in Boston. She sang this song and a duet with Andrea.
The Greatest Showman should bring her in and work on the idea that it was a sync sync as part of the story. She deserves to show her face in the film's universe as much as her voice. ♥️
I’m totally addicted to watching this performance of Lauren singing Never Enough. When I’m 100 and watching it for the millionth time I will still be hypnotized and tear up. Thanks for reacting to it. One of the best live vocal performances I’ve ever seen!!

We drove up to Reno last year to see David Foster in concert-always wanted to see him perform. David performed most of his hit songs and told stories of how the songs came to be hits. Part way through his show, he brought out Lauren Allred to sing. Now prior to this show, I've never heard of Lauren Allred before and didn't know who she was. She sang a couple of songs then mentioned that she had just received the golden buzzer on BGT then sang Never Enough. She brought the house down and I became an instant fan!

He would have loved your attitude toward people who say they can't sing...for him, it was always his student's parents who would say their kid can't sing, and he would always prove them wrong! Thank you, and I will definitely start watching you on TH-cam.
Loren comes from a musical family & I'm surprised a voice coach didn't research this beforehand: Allred is the eldest daughter born to musician parents. Her mother, Carol Ann Allred, is a classical soprano and VOICE TEACHER; her father, Brady R. Allred, was formerly the director of the Pittsburgh Bach Choir and an artistic director and conductor of Salt Lake Choral Artists. Needless to say, Loren was well trained.
Just look and feel the exuberance, the grandeur, the Ora of this wonderful singer. Ooohhh my Gosh. Her full of passion singing give me a goosebumps,I can't show that to you but believe me,I got mad to listen and feel her best craftsmanship. Wooowww wooowww wooowww. Each and every element and dynamics of this beautiful mesmerizing song hit the nail on the bud.
Thank you for taking time and reacting to Loren Allred singing 'Never Enough'... I was going to write this lower in body of comment, but after watching your reacting again when at the end and after crescendo, Loren went past full forte, her pitch past what was written, complete ad-lib. It caught me off guard too. I played it over and over. This alone makes 'Never Enough' never enough of Loren Allred. Loren performs this as though it was written for her. She adds so much emotion in her delivery, it's easy to become part of the song. By first chorus, emotions are climbing, and it just goes up from there. I have heard her sing both live and in studio. She is as good live as many are in studio. That takes lots of confidence. Singing live start to finish with no 'takes' and no auto-tune is what separates many singers from so so to greatest. Loren was unknown for a long time. Even after 'Greatest Showman' people didn't connect the dots. People assumed Rebecca Ferguson sang 'Never enough'. It's ironic, some great singers performing live at this level have a common denominator... David Foster. He is the song writer of 'Never Enough' and both music and lyrics have become bedrock classics. Loren says that this song seems to be written just for her. I can believe that. She has taken a song, added her own personality, and made it her own. Other singers will have to work hard to perform song at this level. I have heard this song in the past, assumed that is how to performed it. When I first heard Loren, I actually thought she was singing beyond her vocal range, and that her voice was cracking at high pitches, and she was swallowing ending words instead of enunciating. I learned later, that is Loren's delivery style on this song. I first learned of Loren when I watched this performed by Lucy Thomas. She is young British singer who performed this as a cover and several others from 'Greatest Showman' when she was only 14 or 15. Loren made an impact on Lucy, she decided to do a cover. Lucy competed in Voice Kids - UK at age 14. She was a runner up and got something far more valuable... a record contract with one of biggest record companies in United Kingdom. She has won independent song writer awards twice. Now age 18, Lucy has already released 3 albums, fourth one coming, and many singles. Many are big hits. Lucy's 'Hallelujah' has over 21 million views. That is the first song I heard from Lucy. Her technical singing skills are amazing; pitch, breath, timing, volume, vocal range, vibrato, multiple genres, etc. She combines this with a physical delivery style that connects with a wide base of listeners. She has lead role in upcoming musical in West End London Theater. It was postpones due to Covid. If you have time, please take a moment and listen to Lucy Thomas. I would greatly appreciate your feedback. I do respect your professional opinion. I really liked how you describe Loren using her mouth shape to make different sounds. In Lucy's 'Hallelujah', she uses her mouth in ways I have never seen before. She has taken a classic, and really made it her own. Thank you again. th-cam.com/users/MrLucyMarthavideos
Loren's performance is amazing, sure, but it was MAGICAL to hear you analyze her performance for me! As a non-singer, I was sitting here just mystified by what I saw and heard. Now I actually understand it, and to me, that is golden. Break it down for me! Show me what she did! You did that, and I am very, very grateful. Thank you. For the breakdown. I love this song at a whole new level now.
I just watched your “This is me” video with Keala for the green lighting of “The Greatest Showman”. The second woman signing in the front row to the right of the signing coach you like and recommended was Loren Allred.
Audrey react to her and Pia toscana at this same concert by David foster. They sing tell me by Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand and it’s world class. Insanely good
Miss Audrey - Loren is a great example of how somebody who's been well-trained can blow it out of the park using all the techniques she's been taught and continued to hone over the years. She's a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Thank you for your professional opinion... After I learned that Loren Allred and not Rebecca Ferguson sang 'Never Enough' I dug deeper. I also found out that Zac Efron did not sing all his songs. Ditto for Hugh Jackman. Add Ellis Rubin (young PT). Starting back to High School Musical 1 Zac Efron's singing voice was actually Drew Seeley. Drew also sang some songs in HSM 2 and less in HSM 3, Zac sang most of his songs in 3, and some in 2.. Zak actually has a very good singing voice, yet producers wanted a 'known voice' like Drew's until Zac was better at singing. Hugh Jackman also has a great singing voice. He sang for auditions and got the lead role. He had surgery on parts of face, his doctor told him not to sing and allow recovery. Jeremy Jordan was Hugh's singing voice. Ellis Rubin who plays young PT didn't sing 'Million Dreams' that was done by Ziv Zaifman. Only Zendaya sang all of her songs.
Jeremy Jordan only sang Hugh's parts (minus most of From Now On cause Hugh decided to sing anyway) when they were getting the movie greenlit. Hugh sang all of his songs for the movie, it was just when they were getting it greenlit that he didn't
Did you know she took the courage to go on BGT just to get recognized that she sang this song?? Her BGT performance was amazing. she sounded nervous but killed it. "i think alot of you guys have heard my voice, but dont know my face"
@@gifthouston6883 I didn't know her, and I saw that movie. I assumed Rebecca sang it. Like 98% of the audience. You have to remember most movie goers are not informed on the intricacies of how a movie is made, and whether or not actors and actresses sing their own vocals.

That woman, Loren Allred, can SANG!!!! Miss Audrey - Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me like that very last, sustained, pitch-perfect D5 "enough" was sung while still in her mix, without going into her head voice? On BGT, the whole song is 1/2 step higher, so she hits a pitch-perfect sustained Eb5 on "enough!" No wonder she brought the house down!!

Allred, was formerly the director of the Pittsburgh Bach Choir and an artistic director and conductor of Salt Lake Choral Artists.
Needless to say, Loren was well trained.
I love this performance. Flawless!
I adore your love for singing. Watching you react is so pure. You definitely found your passion. Mad props 👏
Of course Loren is amazing, her mother is a voice teacher. I think that gave her a great advantage. Good for her!
She basically copyrighted her own performance and said "this is why it's mine". She's SO good.
For me, she sounded much better here than in her audition for BGT!
I love this song at a whole new level now.
i love watching her sing this song, love the way she sings gorgeous
Wow this never gets old! Just Fantastic 🤩
You Should React to Cimorelli Cover of this... Is amazing, they Also has a Medley
I've seen this version so many times over the last couple years 💜
I just watched your “This is me” video with Keala for the green lighting of “The Greatest Showman”. The second woman signing in the front row to the right of the signing coach you like and recommended was Loren Allred.
she is a very very good singer i just adore her singing i just love her so much
Audrey react to her and Pia toscana at this same concert by David foster. They sing tell me by Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand and it’s world class. Insanely good
She has a voice and talent like few others do.

Miss Audrey - Loren is a great example of how somebody who's been well-trained can blow it out of the park using all the techniques she's been taught and continued to hone over the years. She's a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
love your comments and tips!!!! Greetings from across the world, Helsinki, Finland.
That comment from her was not necessarily necessary.
@@gifthouston6883 trust me it was necessary and I loved it 😍
@@gifthouston6883 I didn't know her, and I saw that movie. I assumed Rebecca sang it. Like 98% of the audience. You have to remember most movie goers are not informed on the intricacies of how a movie is made, and whether or not actors and actresses sing their own vocals.
@@gifthouston6883 I think it was, there are still so many people out there who thinks the actress sang ‚Never enough.‘ Until few days ago I was one of them, but I saw her BGT video and was amazed.
Thank you - i lerned more about singing like this with you than ever bevor.
How did she not get a standing ovation for this performance? I would have been on my feet
I love your reaction more than anything
You should see her performing on BGT. No one knew who she was until she sang that song. She was amazing
My fave part of the song is what she does at around 4.16-4.18...beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
I love to see your reactions while she is singing!
Hello 👋how are you doing?
You should react to Citizen Queen's version of this song. They are an all-female acapella group.
yesss citizen queen representation!!
This is by a long shot the best reaction to an truely oustanding actress. Your way of breaking down the technics is just spot on. Well done!
btw, in the "From Now On" and "This Is Me" workshop videos, Loren Allred is next to Natalie Weiss.
greatest performance ! she should continue singing...
Till the tears, fantastic, she is wonderfuuuulllllll........!!!!!!!!!
maybe you've seen it, but she ALSO auditioned on BGT with this song and got the Golden Buzzer
She’s just amazing ❤❤❤❤
You remind me of my late vocal trainer in Melbourne Australia. Same type of enthusiasm.
THANK YOU for this video.
I'm a simple Neanderthal. I heard her sing this on BGT and thought "Oh wow, Angels exist".
And I don't really know you, or your credentials - but you sound like an absolute expert. The way your reacted to this has made me appreciate her voice even more.
Make no mistake, I don't know what _falsetto_ is (or any of the fancy musical words you said). But seeing you react, hearing you explain, it really made me love this more
I love all your videos, but this is my favorite. You're so into it.
Just thought I’d let you know that Loren Allred sang a new version of Never Enough on AGT Fantasy League in January. You might want to check it out. I think the roof finally settled back down by now!

깜짝 놀랐습니다 정말 이런 가수를 알수 있게 해 주셔서 감사합니다. 소향이란 가수와 너무 흡사하나단 생각이 듭니다
She’s perfection. And she makes it seem so easy!
Straight chills.
I think the voice in the film " the greatest showman " is perfect with Loren. I like her voice because of specialty and emotion. Thanks
you have to compensate for certain consonants in various languages. such as the unvoiced "f" .It is an assumed sound to make way for the more vowelic sound.
She is STUNNING! 😍
