thank you to all the TH-camrs who do these videos!!- but my question to everyone is how do you revise within a school time table? i know what to do i just can't knuckle down after school. the first week of my easter half-term was purely me typing up notes from my science revision guides- and ive only covered paper 1. i know time is really slipping i just can't get in the mindset to do anything over the hours after school which i know would otherwise be super beneficial!!
I started last week and made a BEAUTIFUL planning/ calendar. Started, was very motivated. The next day I literally BROKE MY LEG falling of my bike, and had to have surgery to fix it. Literally got tripped by the universe there, stay woke.
You are a revision machine! When I was revising for my finals I wrote a revision timetable, did none of it, panicked, watched 9 entire sessions of E.R then crammed 8 pitiful hours of revision in the night before. Your method seems much better!
I start my A Level exams on the 20th May and I don't feel prepared at all. I've got a revision timetable that I've tried to stick to but due to the fact we only started writing our history coursework around a month ago (my sixth form isn't the most organised) so that had to take priority so I'm going to finish some homework I was set to do over Easter in the next few days and then start knuckling down with revision for history because we've still got content to cover so we don't have in lesson revision time but I do in my other two courses. Very stressful but also very rewarding to see my spreadsheet with all of my topics to revise in slowly starting to look like the Incredible Hulk!
@@pouriaabadsafian We've handed in our first drafts and will get advice on what needs improving during our first lesson back. The majority of our time was spent learning content that has since proved useless! Plus we missed loads of lessons with the teacher who was doing coursework with us (the teacher who teaches us the exam content hasn't done A level coursework before) so we only had like a week to actually write our first drafts. I have two whiteboard calendars that sit above my desk so that I've always got the current month and the next month visible. I'm only taking one class as a grad student this semester so it isn't a super ton of stuff, but I include my mom's teaching schedule since I live with my parents.
I am staying in Durham with my grandparents for this week! I love Durham and it’s cathedral and the castle so much;) today I went for a run along the river and I wondered if I would see you😂

Currently 05.10 of 23rd april A levels: Bio, English lang&lit combined and Sociology Revision done: 0 How many days left: 30 days Stress level: 1000 Procrastination: 1000+1 In all seriousness i have done 0 revision and my mocks have in general been appaling. Im talking D's/E's and sometimes U's. I deleted all social media today and all games and netflix to get rid of distractions. I have 4 weeks so basically only 672 hours till my first exam. Starting today im gonna revise seriously a minimum of 5hrs a day. My goals or things which i need to achieve are:1 make flashcards of my entire biology book 2 as well as sociology books ( yes plural theres 3) .3 re read all my english books (lovely bones, a streetcar named desire and kiterunner) as well as making notes+ flashcards. 4 i also have to make analysis of my poetry anthology (carol ann duffy) and paris anthology. Last but not least i have to memorise this all and make mindmaps and posters. Feel free to comment and ask a question or an update i will try post one every week till the exams commence.

At our Uni we have 4 exam periods, most students have 2-3 exams each of those periods. So in total most students have 7-10 exams each academic year... so different. Our exam weeks are every 7 weeks
nor did i but it's such a life saver!!! check online and it says which universities participate in the scheme - i think it's all of them except oxbridge :)
