ye had an encounter exactly like that when i was playing normal servers. I was like " FIGHT THIS IS NOT HARDCORE PUSSYS" and then we crushed the pack. Some ppl play like they would die irl lol
@@lel90 it's my friend's clip and context is that the druid tank had a priest healer who fell off the bridge outside SFK after a duel prior to the dungeon. Druid tank then proceeded to grief the whole time. 3 different group members had threatened to leave and then he made the pull in the clip. I actually think that he was a little too nice, the Druid was obviously trying to kill the group.

That mage in the Deadmines run should go to a Normal server so their inactions don't have the dire consequences. Could've been salvaged, _should've been_ salvaged, but nope. Standing there in a daze then laughing afterwards is not going to win you friends on a Hardcore server.
the whole group let the tank down. the healer and both rogues didnt care to jump down either, it is like you said it could have been salvaged. 4/5 of this team was pretty bad.

@ClassicHardcoreMoments At 7:53, you edited the video to highlight the Shield Bash and added text that he's in the wrong stance, but he's in Battle Stance. Shield Bash can be used in both Battle Stance and Defensive Stance. The real trouble is that he just used Execute so he has no rage, and the priest just put up a fresh Power Word: Shield so he's not getting any rage. He just needed 10 rage to use Shield Bash. I should add that I think the context notes are great. I think it helps a lot to clarify some of the action and game mechanics which often aren't obvious or intuitive. I really appreciate your channel!

I really, really appriciate you posting this much. I no longer play vanilla WoW but have had superb memories from it, especelly in the early 2000s. Nothing came even close to bringing that feeling back once they released classic, but hey, it's always fun to watch hardcore highlights after all!
My favorite is seeing streamers being barely able to 1v1 a mob, and then a second mob joins in, they don't react until they get to like 30% hp. Like no shit you died. 18:00 is a great example

It's a miracle that any one of these players had the brain power to start a group. 10:00 Same with these guys. They are roaching out vs five mobs, with one caster nearly dead. They take zero damage while running out through the entire instance (until they hit the respawns...) meaning they could've easily kited and killed the mobs. Absolute gutter tier players.

18:06 first, cat vs an elite is generally bad, you almost certainly want to be bear, you can bash and drop out to heal too. As for what you could have done : you could have entangled the elite and soloed the normal to get it out of the fight, low level elites are usually CCable, if that failed root the normal then deal with the elite. You can even sit and regen and reCC if you need to after the normal or just mid fight with the elite. You could also have pre-hotted yourself regrowth into rejuv as youll get a lot of your mana back in combat. When you were running you could have nature's grasped as well
the speed at which i would kick that druid for that pull in SFK. I'll wait for a new tank, it's a lot less time than trying to re-level my character again.

Im the warrior. Tbh, it was my first fight at this boss, so i didnt know the mechanics and thats why i never go as a tank in highlvl dungeons cuz i dont know them. But the palatank did. When he started running, followed by a "WHAT", i thought these were the mobs somehow pulled from the guzzlers room, so i ran with him. The panic spreaded through the whole grp without a reason and when the eles were also facepulled by the healer cuz he was a little bit lower leveled, it was over^^
What's with so many of these hardcore players inside dungeons? I swear so many clips you see are just: An extra mob pack gets pulled, then suddenly brain function ceases, and it's time to try and hearth out. Just get the mobs off your healer, and if he's low on mana, let the tank kite them whilst mana regens. The only grounds to abandon your group is when something goes horribly wrong, like a hunter pet pulling half the dungeon or something.
16:20 and 18:05 when you make the stupid decision to go Alc/Herb instead of Eng/Min... As a druid most players Engineering is essential to survive in these kind of situations. Its just dumb not to choose it. Fck the potions. Both people didn't even have any of the potions used. Yes Swiftness potion is great but just buy it from the AH.
That rogue at the end, if he would have just exited the building and ran straight between the two trees into that little valley he'd have been fine. Instead, he ran over to the orchard with tons of stealthed mobs.... tragic!

In that moment, amphy decided to ditch when the healer started to hearth out. The healer then cancelled hs and put a hot on the tank. That's when he got aggro and it was too late. The pack was marked, so he couldn't ahve missed it on accident either. It is also strange that the tank hadn't built up any threat on any of the mobs so a single hot from the priest pulled threat on like 5 of them instantly. Combined with how the tank was acting and talkking before this, it does seem like he was either drunk or actively attempting to grief them tbh. He also typed a lot of completely unhinged stuff in amphy's chat during/after.

Not every race are the same size. Undeads are much shorter than trolls that's why in the first clip troll took damage.
If he had jumped instead of walked off would he have taken more damage? I'm not sure how fall damage works exactly but you seem like you might know 😅

Yes, jumping adds damage because it’s falling from a greater height. It’s not much of a difference, but it can matter sometimes.
