The conversation between Oberyn and Tyrion is one of my faves from the series. It gets me so emotional. "That's not a monster, I told Cersei. That's just a baby" 😭😭😭. About Needle, I think (and I'm not a sword expert) that Needle is the perfect size for Arya, well suited. Arya is small, agile, light she could never, or with difficulties, swing a big heavy sword. But with her abilities, a good training, knowing the strategic body part, she can do damage, leathal damage! Needle is the perfect weapon for her, and Jon knew what she needed when he asks the design to the black-smith.
Needle is the perfect type of sword for vital wounds with little user strength too. Poking an artery is just as effective as removing a limb and much easier.
The Mountain's Actor has changed a total of three times over the last few season, it is probably why you didn't immediately recognize him. This is the definitive actor who played him now.
Hafthor is the last. He fit because he's literally the world's strongest. Everything they claim the Mountain can do he actually can. But as for personality, Conan from season 1 was a better fit. Too bad he quit to join Spartacus for one season.
Fun episode, Oberyn's speech is great, Lysa going bye bye, and on a rewatch I especially like Melisandre explaining that most of what she does is tricks and illusions because although she is clearly and demonstrably able to accomplish magic it's f*cking difficult and requires sacrifice.
