Infiniti was truly innovative in design. They were the brand that influenced other car makers to make more sophisticated contour lines for automobiles. Those lines will be legendary in the auto world.
@tCson Blind spot assist was out way before BMW and Lexus had it in thier cars, but the key word here is Blind spot "INTERVENTION", any other vehicle can help you in warning you when a car is on the lane you merge to but Infinitis system Intervenes in the event of this happening. The M-class will actually pilot the vehicle back into the center of the intended lane if it has veered off-course and if it senses a collision or will help avoid one. In essence the car takes control, others will not
I hear absolute silence from the car community on the M56/Q70 5.6 and I can’t figure out why. Beautiful, Reliable, Comfortable, and FAST. These things are the perfect daily!
This is one cool car with the V8. I currently drive a 2014 Q60S and the thing I love about the Infiniti is the controls. They are intuitive where as most other cars in this class are electronic nightmares, well, for me anyway. This M is really nice and if I could have found one in my area, I would probably have bought it. The cool thing is that it is one heck of a sleeper with respect to performance. It goes like a Q60S or a 370Z but has the sedate look of dad's grocery getter...
Killing off the Q cemented its reputation as a second tier premium brand, more like Acura than Lexus or Audi. You can’t have a serious luxury brand without a flagship.
@Johncarson9113 Wow thats not even the same thing buddy, the Lexus LS460 basically has a Lazer guided cruise control which is common on many cars these days, the systems intention is to keep you on your lane when you begin drifting, it does not detect blind spot awarness it just nudges back when your blinker is off when merging into a lane. the Infiniti will pilot the vehicle back when you do not see a car in your blind spot!The lexus doesnt care about the car next to you, it will not detect it.
Why does it have so much power a d torque but specs are the same to my 03 G35? Such a disappointment cuz i want to upgrade to a v8 (i have an 03 G35) so i can be faster and mod it without worrying about the engine being too stressed but this to me is like a step backwards. Guess cts-v is the only fast and relatively cheap v8 rn (2nd gen used V)
Weight... You're comparing a full sized, flagship sedan to an entry level coupe / sedan. You really don't know much if you're seriously asking this basic question.
@Johncarson9113 Please watch the 5th Gear review of the Lexus LS460; in that review their verion of lane keep assist will jerk the steering wheel to keep you in your lane just like all the other you described
Im sorry but making every infiniti look pretty much the same doesnt do it for me. It looks like a infiniti G37 coupe and sedan. The rear looks lke a camry (which is gay) and it just doesn't look like a $60,000 car. I personally thought the last one was great! I will give it to them, the interior is stunning...
it's not all about horsepower though, it's the dinky v6 in the m37 that just can't put out the torque of the v8 in the SS Camaro..your friends dad will be put in his place soon don't worry.
Such an excellent car. Any generation of M was a good car. Never understood why they weren't more successful.

tbh it looks a bit like jaguar xf and lexus GS which were before it

best car in its class
5.5? The M56 was tested at 4.6-4.7 seconds. Who's driving these cars?
RPaulo8k
5.5 has to be the M37? That sounds more logical. I also read it was under 5 seconds 0-60 for the M56.
Yes 5.5 sex to 60 for the M56 has to be a typo or mistake. Virtually any other site out there says it does it in 5 or less, mostly say less.
MotorWeek tests all vehicles in high elevation.
@@naywahn High elevation? Nowhere in MD is "high elevation". Hagerstown where the strip is like 500' above sea level.
OK John Davis... Ponderous Q45! Post 2003 cars with the premium sport package and decent tires are the most undervalued large sport sedans out there.
+David Wendel He doesn't seem to know much.... The 06 M45 was a very well reviewed car too.
David Wendel I had a Q45T and it was the best car I ever had.
@@vk45de54 John Davis only knows what the teleprompter tells him. The first generation Infiniti M sedan was a big seller too.

I have 2012 m37s I love this car it turns heads , everybody else is driving Bmw or Benz
Vick305 P. Im shooting for black on black M37S To replace my black on black M35S i don't care what anyone says Infiniti makes great vehicles

M's are nice and quick

Great car
I read the m56 does 60 in under 5 seconds yet they say 5.5 here? I was considering trading my GS460 for one
Dont you'll regret it
Why will you regret it?
it does 0-60 in 4.9s easily with the right driver.
I think the 5.5 rating is for the M37
I'm thinking of trading in my G37xS for an M56x...
in Japan the Fuga has more features
You can tell that Nissan recycled this design on their Altimas on a later generation.
Nice whip !

@bryanchou nice going! I'm a bit late to the party, but congrats anyway
What's the power like
@lglotus1 why u hate toyota n if u got it yet how is it?
Where's their ACTUAL acceleration numbers? Rip off!!

The 3.7 pulls way harder than 3.5 and feels way stronger the through the whole rev range.
I want a JDM Nissan Fuga V8

@Johncarson9113 Mine are, thanks ;-)
The lane drift thing IS NOT a "world's first", Lexus had it on the LS back in 2007; you guys need to check your facts better
I'm getting the hybrid.trading the Ls.I now hate toyota
@bryanchou I SEE I TOUCHED A NERVE. BUT STILL...NO ONE CARES
in very small ways it looks like a camry/ lexus from the side....
Nothing about this looks like a Toyota product.

Y compare a base engine to another brand top engine if that’s you have to do that you already lost
@bryanchou no one cares
Wow thats UGLY. Good job Nissan. The only car you got going for yourself is the GT-R. Infinity has been increasingly boring over the years.
rg0r Infiniti is faster than most other vehicles in its class.. even in today’s date...
