Steven, I was a volunteer firefighter for years, parking in front of a hydrant is actually really fucked up and could cost someone their property or even their life. Seconds matter in emergency situations and if someone is parked in front of a hydrant that costs emergency services time that they should be using to save lives. Parking in front of a hydrant is absolutely a reason to call someone out.

I remember in driving school before i got my license (back in the early 2000s) the instructor told us never park in front of a hydrant for this reason, and if you do and an emergency happens and they need to hookup to that hydrant theyll straight up smash your windows out and run the line through your car and then fine you for it.

Nah blocking a fire hydrant is putting lives at risk, one time we strung a hose right through the windows we broke out of a car that was blocking a hydrant and they couldn’t leave until we unhooked the hose and we made sure that was as long as possible. Don’t do it

Film anybody you want in Public....where did people even get this dtupid idea that you need their permission to film them in public? What do they think all the security cameras are doing? Do they think security gaurds are chasing everyone down who happens to get on a security camera and ask them to sign a release?😅😅😅😅

as a paramedic who works at a firehouse and fiancé who’s a firefighter, parking next to a hydrant absolutely putting lives at risk, she was the karen not him. couple weeks ago the guys had to connect the hose though a car’s windows, even the dude who’s car it was realized he messed up and was the one apologizing when he came back to see it. i know majority of EMS doesn’t work 24 hour shifts in a firehouse and not around that environment daily but if she’s actually an EMT, she should still 100% know better

I have wondered about this, and thought it must be a holdover from the time when the only people recording GP public BS were legit news crews, and they'd always get a waiver/disclaimer/wtf-ever.
But then 2020 happened, and now everyone also seems to think that cops MUST get a supervisor, only female cops can arrest female suspects, and they cant be trespassed from public places, so maybe it's just that people are stupid and believe whatever they want to be true.
