Thank you for your service to our Lord. ALLAh SWT. RQ: If we are meant to be silent, why do we have a voice box, and for deaf/mutes, sign language, and for non humans, body language?? I feel like this is mostly a deprecated paradigm with the exception of when and where it comes to anger or arrogance, then, yes, silence is probably best. This From a human who could read and write, but refused to speak her own words until therapy at 7. MashaALLAh And of course ALLAh knows each heart best. And ALLAh is more than sufficient for me.

What of writing? I am a revert and sitting here sobbing because I know I need to hear this. I wouldnt speak as a child for fear that what i would say may come to be. When i realized it wouldn't, i didn't shut up. It tickled me that words were like toys!! But, I wonder, are they??? الله إكبر What I hear you saying is to go from verbose speech to terse. Never has worked yet, but then, that was before I reunited with Raabana!!
