- From Tanzania to Kenya - our Roadtrip to Nairobi City! In this VLOG we are showing you our favorite Places in Nairobi and our personal experience.
We stayed in Nairobi 1 week and enjoyed the luxury options a LOT. The restaurants and the malls are having a western standard and every one speaks english very well. The traffic is horrible so we didn't drive our car in the city center - we always took a Uber-driver which is working very well in Nairobi, the Taxidrivers are very friendly. #nairobi #kenya
Our favorite mall is the Village Market - every Friday they are having a Masai Market on the Rooftop Parking Area!
Our favorite Restaurant is the awesome Fifteen Rooftop Restaurant which offers a very good view over the city and the National Park of Nairobi. Our Highlight: to see the Rhino Family from there! It was amazing! 🥰🦏 #travelexperience
Our favorite Area to stay: Kilimani or close to Karura Forest (Embassy Area)
Another Highlight: our day in the Karura Forest - to see a beautiful nature so close to the Citycenter is amazing. In this Forest you can take a walk the whole day! They have a Cafe inside with Snacks, Food & Drinks and the Forest-Area offers a really relaxed time with waterfalls and different trails.
We felt very safe and liked the City pretty much, it's our 5th time in Nairobi and we will come again!

Hi am musabe from Uganda l really love your videos keep it up
Hi Musabe! Greetings to Uganda! Thank you soooo much for your support 🤩🤩🤩
the giraffe centre is a conservation park where...the giraffes in the centre were rescued and the money usually goes to help in wildlife conservation efforts
Do you think it help the animals when they get food from tourists? I don't know for sure, it's just my own thinking, but i think if you want to help wild animals you need to keep them wild? The Giraffe Center is a main Tourist Attraction in Nairobi and even Google call it a zoo? .. But we never visited it, so maybe like i said.. it's just my thinking! Did you ever visit the place? Greetings from Stefanie
@@isayaandstefanie they were injured or abandoned by their mothers...would you have preferred if they were left to die in the wild? plus the money they get is the same money that helps take care of the giraffes...pay the caretakers and pay for the sanctuary and the animals don't stay there for the rest of their lives(like in the zoo)...they are usually sent back into the wild after rehabilitation

@@isayaandstefanie Don't you think a little research is more better than thinking and assuming Lol?
@@joewachira9903 Oh wow that sounds nice! I hope thats the truth, i know a lot of places where the 'business' is the same but to the end the animals will never be free again .. thats why i'm very critical with places like this BUT i hope the way they do is good for the animals and they will have a better life then before 😍
That immigration officers is jealous of Tanzanian maasai with his girlfriend 😂😂😂😂
The tanzanians taught you not to like Kenya really fast😅😅😅 as you have seen, Hamtuwezi.
I like Kenya, specially Diani in Mombasa! Nairobi is also nice but after one week it's enough, i grew up in a City and i don't like it 🤣 Greetings from Stefanie
Dudee just have a tradition of Respecting their opinions !
For instance, she is so specific that
Firstly ...
She doesn't like western style of life while in Afrika as she grew up and experienced it in big city back in home country Austria Europe
Secondly ....
She likes WARM weather environment while in Afrika as she grew up in cold environment back in Wien Austria Europe so she needs to switch to WARM weather environment here in Afrika.
So the perfect place of hers is Tanzania especially Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar (esp. Unguja)
So why are you so sick guys ...
I’m a Kenyan and I hate those type of corrupt immigration officers. As a Tanzanian you have the right to come to Kenya 🇰🇪
Wish you know how the tanzanian immigration treats Kenyas😢
Yes and at the end it was no problem, Mr. Masai Isa just need to wear jackets in the future 🤣🤔😬
@@maryannenjuguna8771 Pole sana! I think we all know that bad Immigration Officers, some they are nice, some they have a lot of bad days .. 😱😅
Being a Scandinavian in Kenya, with a Kenyan partner, I know all too well about the rampant corruption in Kenya.
My best advice is to ALWAYS check things on the internet ahead of getting into any situation with Immigration and police.
Consult the relevant websites and
Take a screenshot and show it when you get to wherever.
Then they usually fall in line.
If only you knew how Tanzanians treat Kenyans, you wouldn't even write what you've just written.
This was beautiful, although unfortunately, the remarks and many other things aren’t accurate, but rather reflect Tanzanians biases toward Kenya. The Giraffe Center isn’t a zoo; it's a conservation center for vulnerable giraffes, which are later reintroduced to their natural habitats. I live in Europe, and I'm familiar with what zoos typically look like. I'm a new subscriber from Kenya.
Bro how big is that center I can't be a conservation bwana ni zoo io
Hello! Thaaank you, nice to have you here! Karibu! I watched a lot of documentaries about that kind of sanctuaries with tourism business, the most of them never see freedom again and it's not the goal of the place to look for the well-being of the animal, the most are looking for them profit and using the animal history to make money, thats why i'm very critical about that kind of places. But to the end: i hope that the animals are getting a good treatment and enjoy the freedom afterward. Let's pray for this! 🙏
@@user-qi8wx7xs8e, to better understand what distinguishes a zoo from the Nairobi Giraffe Sanctuary, it's important to note that the sanctuary operates differently. Unlike a zoo, the Nairobi Giraffe Sanctuary allows giraffes to roam freely within its 60-acre premises. This means the giraffes have the freedom to come and go as they please, deciding whether to approach for food or attention on their own terms. In contrast, in many zoos, animals are often confined to enclosures and their interactions with humans are more controlled. Additionally, while there is a fence surrounding the giraffe sanctuary to keep the animals safe from human interference, it is distinct from the barriers often found in zoos, emphasizing the sanctuary's focus on providing a natural environment for the giraffes. Understand that, even in national and game reserves, where animals have more freedom, they are typically monitored by game wardens.

Hello Isaya and Stefanie. Great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.
Hiiiiiii UgandaVlogz, thank yooou! We just started for fun 10 days ago so for us is everything fine. 😃🤗
Giraffe centre is not a zoo
We google it and found it as a 'Zoo' .. my personal thinking is, that if someone really wants to help animals they will be not an attraction for tourists? But i don't know what is right or wrong, for us we decided to watch animals wild and free in National Parks instead of places like this .. Greetings, Stefanie
@@isayaandstefanieyou sound illiterate or your education system is very poor. which country are you from again?
The immigration officer was simply being an idiot. Does it mean the Maasais wear no clothes?
Yes exactly, he said the masai clothes are not clothes 😅🥲
This Tanzanian guy clearly can not give a good review of Nairobi - giving negative vibes only.
You are wrong Sir!!!! Giving negative energy to people geeeeeze

At 7:41 you claim to be in the middle of Nairobi city center while the truth is you’re just in one of the suburbs!!! Why do you vlogers give out incorrect info? Makes me sick and I can’t watch any more of your content coz I’m sure it’s just manufactured and you don’t even put in a few minutes of research 😢
