I had a punch needle kit when I was about 11. The lady at the store gave me everything I needed but didn’t tell me you work from the back of the project and the design is on the other side. I made big ole holes in it trying to get my image to look nice because I was judging the picture of of the back. I ended up throwing the punch needle away a few years later never imagining it could actually work out. Who knew there’d be TH-cam teachers 30 or 40 years later.
I had one years ago and I actually did it. I don’t remember exactly how but I don’t think it was anything like this. This made absolutely no sense to me!!!
I use to do Pretty Punch Embroidery and it was great. I made bibs, pillows, shirts. We had to use glue to put on the shirts. The kit you have received does not seem like very good. 😮
I just watched a video on Punch Needle for Beginners. There's a certain way to thread it, and the first thread does stay on the back side. Definitely need better instructions in the kit.
Wow, I have never done anything like that
I’ve never seen a punch kit before. Completely new to me. You can tell I don’t get out much LoL!
Hi Lynne…🤗
Well we learn something every day! ☝️🤓👍
Yes I know. You do learn something every day!! 😄

My needle had numbers to turn and that made the stitches longer and shorter. We used glue on the back to hold threads.
I was surprised.
I used to do punch needle way back in the day! The kit definitely needs better instructions!

They even have a video but it is sped up and you really can’t see exactly how to thread it.
Crap directions from company. How you hold the needle is super important
Yes! They don’t really explain it well in the instructions.
