I started going to Tuscany in 92 and finally bought a place there in 2001 which I sold in 16. I have been back a number of times since Covid but never to the place you visited there is a lot that I didn’t see and don’t know that looks great as well. This was an excellent tour of those places. The food looks exquisite. I have never tasted those wines because I was Tuscan centric.
@@lifeisgrapeintuscany at 81 years of age, I took my last trip in April May. I’m not sure if I will get back again. Some of my friends have died off and most did not have a lot of time to hang out. They were too busy, busy trying to make a living. It is very difficult for people who live in Tuscany to survive economically. The tourist trade is seasonal and depends on a lot of factors out of the control of the local people. Further, the summers are getting extremely hot and mosquito ridden. However, I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Seamus at Chanti kitchen. I have known him for almost 30 years and he is a good friend. In addition, he offers cooking schools and is a world-class character. Tell him I sent you. It would make a good episode on your show. His location is on the felsina and there are beautiful views from his cooking school. You could arrange to take some of your guests up there for a cooking lesson.
Perhaps I missed it, but which tour is this and is it listed on your site? I'm looking to come in the Fall of 2025 and would like to check out this tour details.
@@lifeisgrapeintuscany I saw Fixer to Fabulous over the weekend and searched the web to find you. Great series and I love the renovation! I'll be reaching out soon to get more information on the tours so I can start planning my trip. Also, I see a couple on here from Des Moines, IA. I'm also in Des Moines so I hope they see this possibly to connect and learn about their trip. Thank you.
This was your best yet, the food, and the shops, just beautiful~ thank you kindly! I'd come and go with you anytime
