Hey great videos. simple instruction will help people save big bucks. I seen your struggle with cutting your take off hole. round duct is tricky to cut once snapped together. may I suggest an easier way to procure that pesky hole. start off by doing exactly what you did drilling a hole with a screw then using your unibit but instead of starting on the outside edge you start an inch maybe 2 inches off center of the hole and then what you do is you take a full spiral and a half before you actually reach your outline but when you start a little off center you make a spiral shape moving towards the outside what that does is relieves the tension from the center. you will be doing more cutting but it goes three times as fast and it's a lot easier and you don't make burrs on your edges. try it out and that would probably be a good video for you to put up

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion!!! We'll try it out
Some gnarly fishhooks there bud, use offset snips for an easier cut.
So if it's for an exhaust the saddle would be place on the duct facing the opposite direction or the direction of air flow?
I can't figure out why the duct sealant is being applied outside the joint instead of between the 2 parts? Thanks
I would do both.
Nice works dear
Always wear protective glasses when cutting metal
Screw your tap into the spiral before you trace. it makes lining up your cut out very simple.
Thanks!!!!
Thanks you sar
The only good thing about this video is the magnet on the drill

Nice works dear
My thoughts too. Damn it's a good thing he's wearing gloves.
why not just buy a wye
Buddy you need more training before you can teach someone else. You should have put a sealant between the pipe and saddle.
