I like how your videos are super authentic and nothing too crazy like some creators that are out there doing elaborate transitions that take 1 hour to edit. I think going back to the basics will win over the day in the long run.
More great content sir. It all boils down to story, story, story. What advances that story and how best use camera angle, lighting and sound to make that story entertaining. Thanks so much for all you do.
Hi Benett. Great video bro! I'm always amazed at the new stuff you come up with using simple techniques that everyone can do. Thanks for your efforts in helping us!
Excellent and entertaining short! Such a refreshing take on a tired old subject. Also, thank you for sharing your creative process. One of your best videos without a doubt.
Saya benar-benar suka dengan konten video yang kau buat, spesial pembuatan konten video menggunakan smartphone. Shot-shot yang kau buat sangat kreatif sekali. Salam dari Indonesia 😊👍
That would be amazing! That is something i want to incorportate, more short films and then transform them into longer once! Who knows what the future will bring :) Thanks for watching!
Hi Benett, great video. Thanks for sharing, you are the best. Quick question, do you happen to know how to record in HD 120 fps. Everyone says you can do that but I cannot find those settings at all in the Blackmagic Camera app. I can only get to 60fps.
I’d been holding off on the small rig cage you’re using because I was under the impression you can’t mount both the VND and Black Pro Mist at the same time and avoid vignetting. Is that still the case?
You don‘t have any vignetting when using the standard wide lens or telephoto lens. You will however see dark edges when using the ultra wide angle lens but with some cropping you can get rid of it :).
Hi, I‘m looking all of your videos. Great! I use also iPhone15ProMax with Blackmagic app. But with AppleProRes 422 and Apple LogbHDR my screen shows me all in a washed grey. Outside I see not really what I want for control the video. What is wrong with my settings? Thx for feedback.
To not make you video look washed put when filmingin Apple Log in the LUT selection under LUTs you‘ll want to select the Apple Log to Rec709. Then in the assisting tools turn LUT on.
@@BenettGraezerOoh! This brings up a question that has been burning in my mind! What I don't understand about LUTS/color grading is this: Without shooting in Apple log, it shoots in Rec 709, right? So you shoot in Apple log and then change it BACK to Rec 709?? Why shoot in log in the first place if you're just going to change it back to what it would have been if you hadn't shot in log?? I am clearly not understanding something. Does the log to Rec 709 footage look different than just filming in Rec 709 in the first place? Please end my confusion, lol.
@@BenettGraezer It‘s confusing for me the Codec and Color Space connection. Why should I use LUT Apple Logbto Rec709? When I want e.g. to use a other LUT? And can I use in post in LumaFusion another LUT? Could you make for this issue a special video? Would be great…..
@@BenettGraezer it like to ask you something too…I set all the setting in my camera as u have already suggested but and I downloaded the clips from the I cloud in order to edit them I saw that the resolution was but and I noticed that my videos turned into 480p..when I uploaded a tested clip in TH-cam just to check the resolution str8 from my iPhone the video was 1080p.And I am recording with 4k.Why that??Mind you help me dude??Thanks in advance
Does anyone know a good alternative to the Blackmagic camera app for Android? I know about Filmic Pro but it got a subscription feature and the compatibility has worsened. It doesn't work on my Google Pixel 7a. I know mc24fps but I find the ui of it very less intuitive and way too confusing
There's the Motioncam app which shoots in both raw and log (log is a newer feature), but I think I might find it even more confusing than mcpro24fps. 🤔 Still, it's worth checking out, and I'm definitely going to see if I can make use of it. Good luck!
stop staying ghiar, is GEar, like GEnder, GEnius, GEntil, if is GE is should always be GE, is also valabil for GEnre, not janras but thanks for the videos you are a GEnius,
Hi Bennett,I would like to know how you were able to make the music match with the clips.I mean, how the music first stops with clip, and later ,the same music carries on in the next scenes.
I use a software called beat maker for final cut pro that lets me easily sync the music to the video. It adds beat markers which is great to shorten the music too.
Thanks for sharing. The downside of the blackmagic app I find is that during the day, the Blackmagic app is overexposed. That's because I have the frames per second set to 25 and the shutter speed locked at 180 degrees, ISO 55. You'll need an ND filter in that case.
Hi Benett. Thanks for making great videos on how to make better videos. 😂 I really like how you lay everything out and explain how you do your thing to make quality videos. Your style in presenting is super chill and easy to follow and man you make it look tooooo easy. Thanks for all your tips and here’s hoping I can knock a video of my own out of the park after learning from yours. 👍 all the best.

How can i have this filter on my videos? I mean the colors of the video…
You can apply a LUT to quickly get the look

I stopped at “Have the right gear.” Guess my filmmaking days are over….🤦🏻
You can still achieve a lot with out the gear it depends on the shots you want to create and how it fits with your story :)
