Austin has his problems but she basically called him "bit**y and crass" but apparently it's all good because she said she was the same way. Then she straight up told Jesse he has "crackhead energy" which 90% of people would take offense to. Jesse himself was thrown by the comment and asked "how do I stop?" But she's "pretty" so we chalk it up to her just being "quirky" and "weird". I don't think she's a bad person, but let's be honest... if we took her words and put them in a dude or a much less conventionally attractive women, we wouldn't be talking about how "endearing" she was.

I actually think Cody not being used to it made the show better, usually the button feels like the person in control is sort of too good at it, like they’re already immune to the awkwardness. Cody, I feel it's only right that you know that this was the first Button episode I watched on CUT's channel simply because you were the "host" of some sorts. Was just thinking the same. Flip it - dude walks in and his first question is: "Hey would you be down for anal on our engagement night?" Instant button hit. Not even waiting for it to light up red. Austin has his problems but she basically called him "bit**y and crass" but apparently it's all good because she said she was the same way. Then she straight up told Jesse he has "crackhead energy" which 90% of people would take offense to. Jesse himself was thrown by the comment and asked "how do I stop?" But she's "pretty" so we chalk it up to her just being "quirky" and "weird". I don't think she's a bad person, but let's be honest... if we took her words and put them in a dude or a much less conventionally attractive women, we wouldn't be talking about how "endearing" she was.

I actually think Cody not being used to it made the show better, usually the button feels like the person in control is sort of too good at it, like they’re already immune to the awkwardness. The button had more personality this time, I feel like that’s both thanks to Cody’s awkwardness and also just generally being able to see what’s happening behind the scenes

I think her personality helped Jesse a lot to connect with her, bc she seems so extroverted and leads the convo easily. She also seemed to enjoy someone more reserved and not that extroverted like her, like she said when she buttoned Austin. Hopefully they work out. But if they don’t, I think Jesse should know many women are waiting for him lol 🙃

My husband fell in love with this series from listening to it while I was watching, so I had to force myself to wait until he could watch this with me. Worth it.
