- Māmakī is the wisdom partner of Buddha Ratnasambhava, sovereign of the element earth. Her sacred Sanskit mantra is for prosperity, auspiciousness, bountiful earth and crops, and generosity
Her symbol is the jewel and Her yellow-golden color, represents the richness of the earth. This emphasizes her mission of equanimity, nurturing the growth of wisdom through richness and diversity, and especially generosity. She is often associated with Yellow Tara and Ratna Dakini.

Her practice overcomes the poison or obstacles of Pride and Greed with the Bountiful Wisdom of Equality. She radiants golden light, like a glorious sunrise.
She is yellow or golden, to represent Mother Earth and Bountiful harvests. Her pureland is in the South, and her element is the earth. She holds a Wish-Granting Jewel in her left hand, and her right hand is in the mudra of giving or generosity, the Jew of the Ratna or Jewel Family. Her throne and sacred animal is the horse.
In other images, she appears with the stem of a lotus in her left hand, on top of which is a bell.
Her magic, or siddhi, is increasing and enriching.
Her paramita, or wisdom is generosity.
Her seed syllable of prosperity is Mam
Her mantra is
oṃ ratne suratne māṃ svāhā
This translates as
Om is the verbal prostration to the body speech and mind of Mamaki (here called the “mam” “jewel” (mam seed syllable and ratne meaning jewel.)
Ratna (रत्न) refers to jewels, into which the universe was transformed by the Buddha’s miraculous power
Suratna (सुरत्न).-[adjective] rich in treasures
Svaha (Thus it is, and may it be so for the benefit of all beings.)
This is a praise, prostration and supplication to Mamaki (the Mam Jewel) to bring Suratna (rich treasures), so be it.
