Got my lvl36 Metalsmith in; South Bree Stable-Master to Pelargir 1 Mithril coin. Pelargir to Umbar-Baharbel boatride 1 Mithril coin. Then i got through the gut by following a high level character as they rode in to Swain's guild hall (Not guaranteed to work everytime)🙂
A really good guide. I am doing the daily quests with multiple guild crafters of the same craft largely for extra sea-stones, given their low drop rate this will make it easier to make so many essences without having to acquire them from the AH or Store. We still need more reasonable access to solvents in-game.
@@merickful From what i understand, it is loading and unloading quest and deed data which slows down the process. They need a better system to snapshot the statistical impact of them and only load that stuff if/when you specifically need access to the information. I remember going through quest history used to take forever to load the information but loading in and out of the game was much faster. i kind of preferred it the old way.
@@vuldyn_ Essences make even less sense now that you are severely restricted in terms of the types of essences you can use, a lot of this gear could have had vitality and primary stat and used fewer essences. There is an illusion of choice but you really only have the freedom to make bad choices and you see the horrific choices noobs make with their essences. I think the majority of people are going to use the same essences for 3 slot gear, main stat, vitality and crit for dps and enough finesse you need. Tanks and healers will be cookie cutters as well. The system has lost the appeal it once had imo.
He is Vuldyn I believe. And Ghyn had break from work so he had lot of time, now returned to work, so will be a bit less active. But still we will see him ofc. 🙂 (From what Ghyn wrote on discord)
Haha! Unfortunately Ghyn and I play on different servers, but that would have been quite funny. I honestly have no idea who that was that decided to camp out next to me
Thank you for investing the time to provide this guide. Although the crafting revamp probably isn't perfect (they usually never are in any game) I am very glad they have paid attention to this part of the game. As we get older (playing for about 15 yrs now) raiding is not as appealing anymore. Friends I used to play with have moved on and I find myself enjoying other facets of the game. Crafting has always been the one I've enjoyed grinding for :D
Great guide, bookmarked for future reference as all this seems rather complicated while still working on the initial rep. A bit concerned about distributing barter items between toons, and the bind on acquire / trade option seems useful but at first look, also complicated.
If I reach 15/15 Luck Stones, should I (or can I) make Luck Stone Hallow and just hang on to them for when I'm ready to upgrade? I have multiple crafters. Also, is the Writ of Trade a one time purchase/barter that allows me to trade to others? Or do I need it to be able to receive? lol sorry for the questions, it's a bit overwhelming. And thanks for the video.
Universal Ingredient Packs are already very useful, looks like they may be getting even more useful. Buy the crate(s) and put them on your property, best stuff I ever bought. Alts are useful if they just withdraw from the crates daily. Huge value for the money.
They should add some way to "craft" ancient script. What with the ridiculous cap on it, a lot of us wasted a bunch of it just to be able to disenchant things for inventory space. Now, it's a limited non renewable resource that pretty much makes it so you can only have one cap level toon per account because you can only get more of it every quarter. And you can't get very much of it that way.
Well not really...u dont need allot of script,at the moment ur chars are more then fine with purple traceries. Theres alllot of ways to get legendary traceries also just by doing instances...
Very good info and guide..ty alot! I have lost the connections with this game and this is disappointing me more, i use to like alot crafting, i use to have all craftebels on multiple alts. To bad is a game easy if you just put real money in. Ty alot for the guide info🎉
Way too time and mats gated... not sure why it should be this grindy, as it is already laborious to get to max level. On the other hand, crafts appear to be useful again -- and a priority in the game going forward. So, on balance, good I think, but plenty of room for improvement. Could be a real strong point in the game.
Annoying. This game needs to become a little more beginner friendly if they want new players. For example, i just started playing a month ago and am currently level 87. I was excited to get to max level and start crafting.. but now I learn that to even start the new expansion.. systems are gated. This just makes me not want to play. If its a new expansion, everyone should start on a level playing field.
Yeah, the logic doesn't add up here. You're only lvl 87 and shouldn't really think about this crafting anyways until you get to that spot I would say since it's not relevant until you're at that cap.
@@Isirion1 Not really. Even if I get to 141 zone, I have to stop and then grind reputation from the previous expansion to even start Umbar crafting it seems
or you can just craft as you go through the zones and remember to craft your guild crests over time and it's not a large grind if you do it over time passively. I imagine this is your first character in the game so you could just enjoy the experience I guess is a way to look at it.
Dont worry about the gear or crafting my friend just fucos on lvl up you can get good gear as your questing beside its easy to grind back wards if you already lvl cap you can 1 hit mobs so its easy to grind rep

17:20 is where trading the upgradable items is explained. Now to see if I can understand it.
Very helpful, thank you so much for your hard work!

I really dislike essences. Getting the sea-stones this way though is a nice boost.
I want to do this. There is 1 thing that prevents me. The 1000 years it takes to switch toons. Good strategy though!!

Is that Ghyn knocked down at the right :) Thanks a lot Walden

Why do they have to make every new aspect to the game so needlessly complicated, for crying out loud...
Super guide 😊
Thanks for the guide, almost got enough rep to start this.

thank you ghynghyn for crafting the guilds
How can I get this interface for inventory?

I have 4 crates that i can't turn inor open
I was waiting for the new guild and SSG said we wouldn't need the previous guild and now we do?
You need to be maxed out with the old guild, yes. Unfortunately they weren't able to get past that with the tech that they have in place.

It is a 141-150 zone? You should be more than ready by the time you reach that level.
