Camping in the Mountains of Idaho | Hot Spring Season Road Trip
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 3 ต.ค. 2024
- Adventure into the mountains and ponderosa forests of Idaho as I visit some of my favorite campsites and hot springs - soaking, swimming, camp fire cooking, hiking and camping to transition into the fall season. This road trip will be slow and intentional, living in the woods in my converted van and taking my time on the road - visiting some of the first spots I visited along my itinerary when I first started my nomadic life. We will learn about both hot spring etiquette and geology, welcoming autumn by baking bread in my dutch oven and exploring the wilderness of the sawtooths.

Being a nomad naturalist enables me to reconnect with nature in a whole new way. I hope to inspire this inner peace and happiness in others through a closer relationship with mama nature, through healthy eating, outdoor recreation, edible food gardening/farming, and sustainable living. TH-cam has enabled me to better educate and inspire from the road.

Hot springs are definitely on my list of things to do on my next summer PNW trip! ❤🩵🧊🔥
Awww yes they’re great for the transition to/from summer!! Otherwise early morning or evenings are the way to go!
@@kaylanrosa totally agree!! Its not exactly the same, but one of my fav memories is dipping into a giant hot tub with feet of snow on the ground, heavy flakes in the air. Literal magic!! 🧚♀️
"Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears."(Edgar Allan Poe). You mentioned Oregon - don't know if you've ever been there, but may I suggest the Eagle Cap Wilderness, just west of the Wallowa Valley. Be well, stay safe. 🥾
I just finished a season of farm work in Oregon and have a ton of videos there! One of my favorite places and I will certainly check that out next time!!
Wow, what an awesome place! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Always happy to share a lil nature therapy :)
Beautiful country once again. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching friend :)
Get a nice 12 gauge shot gun bear/bad-guy stopper and a good dog . God Bless !!!
Haha idk if that would be feasible to carry on all my hikes but I think a face full of bear spray would do just fine!
@@kaylanrosa Yes it will help for sure !
Was that some Thai milk tea at 11:50 in the video? Great video, I love your biologist call out. Imma start using that on litter bugs
Haha yeees the homie knows. I love Thai tea and found a carton at a store that was vegan 🤤 and yeeees please do people be acting like they know better but don’t know nothing!
@@kaylanrosa I am always on the hunt for the best Thai tea. It’s always a surprise. It’s either rich and creamy or water downed garbage!
Stunning natural paradise. You are so blessed to know such places.😊
Absolutely! We all are closer to natural wonders than we think ;)
