Really pretty! They would even be great with multi colored lights! They could also be used for a DIY wedding or a 50 year anniversary celebration. The possibilities are endless! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! Lights with a white cord would really be amazing.
I agree with you. I wonder what it would look like with plastic crystal stars, snow flakes and baubles in the bowls.
Most definitely!
Hazardous
I was thinking the same. I don't know how available those are, as most seem to be green, but I believe I have seen them with white cords too.
@@hairbygermaine1323 - those lights don't get particularly hot, so, I am wondering why you say "hazardous" ??
if those crystal ornament towers were in some high end catalog, it would be 100's of dollars for one of them. Amazingly beautiful. You win !
This is true!
She is using plastic tho which is better 🌺
Don't think so it looks tacky and it's in plastic
@@r.r.r9746 the ornament looks nice. Real crystal would never work in the front porch as it could break.
I was wondering where you were going with this, I was like WHAT? and then when you finished, you said it was pretty, it wasn't, it is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us and Happy Holidays. :)
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS GOING TO WRITE. LOL!! I just wasn't getting it at all and finally fast forwarded and whoa!! I can hear the neighbors' thoughts: where did she find that?
Happy holidays made these 3 years ago and still going strong. You can change and add to the top and they look Amazing on dark or dim porch areas. great job
Living in Michigan I can tell you that battery operated anything doesn’t last long in the freezing temps outside. This is a beautiful project even for indoor display or a smaller version with greenery for centerpiece
Good morning And Happy Hoilday’s Yesss I live in Michigan and you are absolutely correct. 🎄🎁👍🏽
I live in Buffalo NY.
Nuff said 😂
Yes I was thinking same thing. So u might be able to somehow use plug in lights with making an side opening on the first bowl!
Toronto!🇨🇦 Again, nuff said
@@MamaRayRayInTheKitchen I live in Michigan also, and I was thinking about the wind we get in Dec. I would be afraid it would get blown away. Happy Holidays to everyone.
What a great idea! You could leave them up after the holidays - they would make a great nightlight or even a great porch/patio light. Thank you for this great DIY craft. Happy Holidays to You & Your Family.
Great idea! I'd use that tape inside each bowl to keep the string of lights suspended within each "bowl".. which may ultimately project a more "full" light effect to the whole structure.
@Julie N I'd do that also. Also, I just mentioned to my husband, to use tape to hold the bowls together because sometimes those battery powered lights don't last very long. With the tape, at least, you could pry bowls apart to replace batteries, etc. Finished product looks nice, though.
Happy holidays!
Great idea.
Thought; in each bowl
One can add; using spray glue randomly
To add snow flakes
Also a few Xmas decorations of choice
Each bowl for different affect!!
Great idea! I wonder how it would look if the bowls were frosted inside
It would take the sparkle away !
It wouldook like a light inside a white balloon or paper lantern.
The sparkling effect is a result of the light reflecting off the angles in the faux crystal designs on the bowls.
Those would be nice any time of year that you want outdoor lighting, especially in a garden ... what a great idea, thanks!
@Barbara Cole Yesss! Great idea!!
One bowl (top and bottom) would make a great centerpiece if you add greenery, "snow", and ornaments around it.
I made ornaments out of those bowls. I added super small led wire lights that are powered by a battery pack and pulled all the lights through a small hole I burned on the bottom of one bowl and then glued two bowls together. Very easy. This is way more involved that what I made. I love it!! Maybe I’ll do something like this next. It looks amazing.
It is definitely, so magical ❄😘
About 40 years ago my dad used to solder clear plastic cups together and run lights through them. They looked like a cheap version of the Times Square ball. Lol. It was a fun holiday side hustle for a few years. Wish I had photos of them. These are genius ways to incorporate lights and inexpensive bowls.
I remember those clear plastic cups “ball”! Thanks for the memory jog!!
Absolutely beautiful... Theses lights could also be used in the house any time of the year, what a great idea I love it ♥️👍
Love this idea but living in Ontario, Canada the batteries wouldn't last, I think a hole in the side of the bottom bowl would allow me to install lights that I could plug in.
Thanks for the great idea!
Thats a good idea. I'm in Ontario too. I'd use white or clear cords and if using batteries, the wire twinkle lights are lighter.
That’s what I’m thinking too. Batteries drain so fast. I’d rather plug them in and thought the same as you with a side hole or even a half circle on the bottom edge so it would still sit flat.
I’m in NY just a few miles from Oswego on Lake Ontario.
@@kdjohnson7180 definitely white cords. spreading out the lights would be good too.
This took a lot of work ,I'm sure but the outcome is beautiful! This is actually something I would like to make. Thanks for sharing!
I think that was the first craft project I truly like from any craft show or project that I've seen on TH-cam! Thank you
Great idea, you could add a few bright coloured baubles to the bowls too, red and gold or red and green would look very festive.
Thank you.
I think using lights with white wires would be good also stuffing bowls with white batting might be nice.
It would keep the lights more evenly dispersed in the bowls
I think if the lights had been taped in each globe it would have looked nicer. Cute after dark especially w the flickering.
I really like this idea. Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a blessed Christmas.
I could NEVER do this! That’s why I so admire those who do. Beautiful!
Fun! I’ve been using large glass vases from flowers I received. I fill them with Christmas ornament balls and tinsel and use tiny copper wire lights in between and let the battery pack hang outside out of sight. Then I find a matching, gorgeous, glittery ribbon I have saved and tie a bow in front. Turn on the lights and voila! Very elegant lighted Christmas decor!
And yes, I picked up tubes of ornaments from Dollar Tree!
You are so CREATIVE!
These are beautiful, and look so classy!
These can be shown off all year, and will be wonderful, thoughtful gifts!
I am very impressed!
Thank you!
Red or green bowls would be pretty too. Also, I'm thinking a snowman can be made with 2 larger clear bowls for body and a smaller clear bowl for head.
Yes! Using white corded lights for instead of the green🤗
Snowman is a cute idea!
Thank you! Your project is very pretty and well demonstrated. Merry Christmas!
I just love this craft idea going to make for all year round lighting Beautiful Stunning
Great idea there are some lights that are made with thin wire that well show up much prettier inside the bowl either way it's a beautiful project

What a wonderful imagination you have! This is just lovely!
That would look cool if you made balls out of the bowls and made a giant strand of Christmas lights to hang up. Same idea but horizontal and spaced out basically)
Brilliant ideas. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your way of decoration for Christmas.
Very Gorgeous, they really look great at night not bad in the daytime either 😉
so much of the stuff people come up with looks like children made them as a school work project..these are so amazing,i could see them retailing for hundreds of dollars...geez...what a invention....gorgeous!!

I got some of them, but to make oversized ornaments.
Those are awesome. I live on a dead end road in the country. I don’t decorate the yard. For the past 4 years I haven’t put up a tree. Lost my husband and mother-in-law and this past Easter my Father-in-law.
Denise..
God Bless you..sorry for your loss..

I'm in Canada and this year has been bad for Christmas stuff 😕😞😕... it seems the past 2 to 3 years have been getting worse and worse. But thanks to channels like these we can still make Christmas projects 😊💞🕊🙏🏻... Merry Christmas 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We have pound shops similar to Dollar stores in England however we dont get the variety of products which they have in America/Canada ❤️🇬🇧
Wow, You’re ideas are sooo wonderful!!! THANKYOU
Thank you for the idea. I do feel that Fairy lights would be prettier, because all the wire doesn't show. Plus different color bowls, like red or green would also look lovely.
