I miss this. Was a part of the choir every year while in high school. I still know all my parts and sing along to the music every Christmas 15 years after having graduated
Our daughter is in there!!! First performance with the Disney Performing Arts! Love this video share! We live too far away and could not make it in person. Thanks so much!!!
8:30 that is my favorite Christmas Carol. Hope you all enjoyed this performance. I also have sang the Hallelujah Chorus 3 times already and I love how long it is. I have more concerts to sing it at again. Can't wait for December again.
The day I see this show, the ppl in front of me will hate my guts because I’m singing EVERY SONG😂 After doing it for 4yrs, it’s engrained into my memory 😅
I miss participating in this. Did it 4 straight years in high school. Was able to go quite a bit because our choral director was the case choir director as well. It was so much fun! I did notice the songs seem more rushed and I felt the Voices of Liberty was too overbearing to the rest of the choir. Beautiful voices but a bit too overbearing.
partially because the VOL are mic'd and the choir in yellow is SO much smaller than in normal years. (usually the massed choir is about 300 and squished up there) I have a friend singing in this particular show and they have so much more room than normal.... lol and I'm curious which songs you think are rushed? This is the normal tempo for most of these.... Yes, CP does tend to take them a little bit faster than you expect..... but this is normal CP tempo.
I know someone who is going to perform and had a question or two....How bright really are the stage lights? And is it hot up there? Like does anyone pass out? Thanks!
the carols at the beginning are normally processed in (not sure if they are doing it this year with new protocols... normally the cast choir is on the steps and they do NOT process in, it's the guest choirs, mainly HS students and some community groups) and then on stage from the rest. When it used to be at Magic Kingdom they actually processed through the park to the train station.
the size of both orchestra and choir is much smaller.... and there's no Voice of Liberty... sigh..... oh, and the Christmas tree becomes poinsettia... ^^ Still enjoyed the performance, though!!! Brings back much the the wonderful memory!!!
@@francislee1443 the voices of liberty are in red they added more of them as well… the only thing was there were less people because of the school stuff that’s it there’s the same maybe less Orchestra members
I knew something was off 😅. My school was chosen from 2011-2014 and I remember it being HUNDREDS of us from like 4-5 local schools to sing in the Choir

A little bird told me the choir is the normal size again this year. :)

super sad about them not having guest choirs this year, was really looking foward to performing :(
I love Auli'i so much😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Do they do an actual processional or is it all on stage?

I did it when I was junior in highschool. It was the most memorable thing & I loved learning all the songs
Loved it but parts felt VERY rushed.
Common now… you gotta get better seats
