Can you tell me what info should I have ready for when I call S.S. to sign up for Medicare A and B I signed up for S.S. at age 62 I am 64 now I turn 65 Aug. 8 It's not clear to me do I still have to call S.S. to sign up for Medicare A and B I am told I have to sign up for part C and D as soon as I get my Medicare card
If you currently receive a Social Security benefit then you will be signed up automatically for Parts A and B. The next step is to choose a supplemental insurance and Part D Rx plan.
@@USAMedicarePlan Hello Shauneen! Thanks for your videos. I know this is crazy early, I'm 42, after doing my research I foresee doing the same as Mark above - get SS at 62 so I can be enrolled in Part A & B automatically. Do you see these rules changing in the future? Or has this flow been consistent since SS and Medicare have been established?
Thank you for this info. I'm still wondering if I heard you correctly. I started receiving SS in July at age 64, 2021. I just turned 65 in March 2022. Now that I watched your video, how do I know I'm enrolled. I'm afraid something is missing coz it seems too good to be true. Thanks for any info
Your Part B premium may already be deducted from your monthly retirement from Social Security. You can call the Social security office to confirm this.
