Great video. Looks like I'm planning a trip down there next year, all thanks to you! Beautiful area I've never been to but with the Fort and Cumberland Island, I can't wait to go now. Thanks!
Great! The middle of summer can be hot. Cumberland Island is not bad because it's heavily shaded except for the beach. Fort Pulaski can be very hot. Enjoy!!
We went there a long time ago (1998) and we remembered that there was a high tide warning saying that you needed to know that you should leave the island long before high tide or you would be stuck on the island. Thanks for sharing.
Well Articulated. Keep up the good work.... I was there in 2016 and it's an awesome place to visit. The video-doc that was played at the information center was very good too.
We actually walk around on the outside of the fort to see the damage done by the canons. The moat is a breeding ground for Mosquitos 🦟 and they were brutal.😄

It's neat
I'm planning the Savannah trip. This would be cool place to visit. Thanks 😊
You should! But you may want to avoid the middle of summer as it can get hot and the sun is strong.
Looking to visit this fort on my trip to Savannah and film my own experience there. Great video!
Thanks. Very interesting history here.

Wow. Well, they built a very nice new bridge across the south channel of Savannah River. Progress!!

The Cockspur light house should have a new wooden walking path either partly or all the way out to it . I need to check that .
Nice one
Thanks for watching. This was more than I expected from this fort.
@@JourneytoAllNationalParks Going on vacation to Tybee Island. I love history and the beach. Can’t wait to see the historical sites there. 🇺🇸

Oh yes! Hate them mosquitos!
It is cool. Been there. If you stand in the center and just think that you are invincible for a little bit. 📡👽🇺🇸 RUN!!!
A taste of history.
