Hey is it good for someone with already some experience in MERN?. Ive used Nextjs,Graphql,postgres,redis, tailwind and etc... It would be good if the cohort basics are covered a bit fast.
Mentor is 100% needed coming from a path of regorous self learning myself, you will come across a lot of procastination and there will be days you wanna dont do it, you feel like i will do it tomorrow and you are always stuck in some sort of turorial hell. Having a mentor makes sure that you study what is needed and what is enough, and move on to doing another technology or start building projects. Having a mentor makes you have confident that yeah i know that. Any ways its your own decision in the end of the day.
As a cohort 1 student, the content he provided in cohort 1 was far more valuable than what I would typically expect for the cost of 6000rs. I have learned more from him than I did during my entire degree, and he has also taught me many additional things.

Learn Python. Much more beginner friendly than C. Then come back and learn C after you've learned programming using python. Harvard has a free online course called CS50P introduction to programming. Check it out

Probably will not buy your cohort as im trying to learn backend in Java(Spring) because of my knowledge in Java is most in-depth but nowadays i also follow many devs like primogen and cloudzy and they too recommend roadmaps similar to you. Also one thing i think you should have included in your video was studying dbms, cn, os and maybe oops in depth as they are heavily important to understand stuff like message queues.
what you are talking about is not for an entry level role, thats system design you are talking about , one needs to be completely comfortible in the whole concept of programming and computer networks and computer organization before they get into system design. Harkirat is talking about how to get from 0 to 1 like he is saying not 0 to hero like others say. And if you are not going for a strict data analytics role , basic dmbs is enough for entry level role. However for going to the senoir level one has to get a bit deep into all of those to build divided virtual systems that talk to each other mainly for future scaling and performance increase. and message queues are just one part of system design that comes mainly under managing microservices, its not the ultimate goal , can use rpc instead of them too but you need to be smart enough when to choose what, do read "designing data intensive applications" book for that kind of knowlege. and its primeagen not primeogen...

@harkirat To be honest asking 5k Or above from parents once at a time is kinda hurdle... It may not seem a big amount to us because we know the amount of knowledge we will be getting from cohort... But for parents it seems to much__ just a suggestion that if there was a monthly plan for cohort... Like on coursera course can be purchased but on monthly emi basis... So that would be great... It will seem easy for parents to give 1k per month rather then giving 5-10k at once...
The real question is even after knowing all these skills will a tier 3 guy can get this much high package or not becoz being from IIT CS its not that difficult to touch 1-2cr but what about T-3 guys which are major viewers..?
Since u said tier 3 ... initially to get that high salary u have to obviously be better than iit cse graduates and skills matter more than college tbh iit do bring higher jobs to table but it's the skill which keep them on table

Start learning c language from apnaa college. If you can't understand than you should try other field.
