I can't wait to level up my minefighter, fieldfighter, oceanfighter, forestfighter, urbanfighter, sewerfighter. I love that I started typing this, and you literally made the joke in the video as I did.
heard you say in the vid you played rs3, what do you think of it these days? i maxed an hc a couple years back, but I think brighter shores could potentially wipe rs3 off the map if it's half decent
I watched this guys video yesterday and here I am watching your commentary on it. Tragically thristy for more info. Keep up the theory crafting sir. Boy has D on the Mind 😅
Minefighter could be like a thing where when you mine certain things you get attacked by enemies in waves while you skill. almost like l4d alarm when you mine.
One of the only things I'm concerned about is the UI. I was never able to get into Runescape because the UI was so overwhelming and confusing. I really hope Brighter Shores has a better user-friendly UI design.
you can see some UI demos in the gameplay footage on BrighterShoresCentral channel, it seems to be pretty user-friendly. Gower has been pretty proactive with addressing a lot of the concerns that arose within Runescape over the years, such as friendly UI and decreasing the incentive for people to bot with the new afk mechanics.
Knowing the game design Gower had with the original Runescape (youre not supposed to max everything). I would assume that skills like Minefight exist to just flood the game with too many skills and content. I don't think its neccessarily a bad thing, because maybe we should not think of the skills like RS skills. In other MMOs, like Albion Online, you have a different skill for each action in the game, which branches out into more skills and masteries. You might be 99 with ranged weapons, but you also need 99 with a specific ranged wep to use it the best. In Albion, cause of this design, its near impossible to 100%. however, I somewhat doubt this. I think its just Gower trying to make his game not look like RS.
I have the same initial sentiment to PoE 2. Initially I was really excited with all the trailers, teasers etc from GGG but everyone and their granny are saying PoE 2 is the best thing since forever... I wish more people said the obvious "the game hasn't come out, stop saying it's the next birth of Christ!" FFS People!
this bloke needs to sort himself out , must be a british thing idk. like i dont mind people theory crafting games but how about just enjoy it instead the bloke ur dubbing over is insane
Maybe its just me bro but.. I have thousands of hours in RS/OSRS and honestly I feel like we don't need Brighter Shores. OSRS has been constantly updated, has decades of community & player investment, like we don't need (and honestly I don't want) a "new runescape". I feel like Andrew Gower should've tried something different.
It’s not runescape though and it is something different. You have to understand that RuneScapes gameplay was originated from Andrew Gowers “art”. This type of gameplay is signature to what he finds enjoyable to games. That being said, if he decides to make a game it’s inevitably going to be something along the lines his old games because that’s what he loves to make
Gagex has kind of effed osrs with the random bans, too primal to have Admins log in to clean up the botting problem, the customer service is like making a phone call into ether, and too dumb to add a working system that balances out gold inflation that's caused by bots or high value drops.
It's time for a similar product that isn't held back by runescape's engine flaws. Brighter shores seems like it will have less bots, less exploitive PVP, and bring the human interaction back to trading. All of these are unachievable by runescspe
Sandy Shores is Andrew's passion project. there's nothing he's trying other than a game he'd like to see be out there. If it ends up being a commercially succesful good game or not isn't the point. With the succes he earned on RuneScape he sold Jagex and his 'baby' because he didn't like the weight of being a CEO and left it to be changed into something out of his control. I believe he still craves to have something created by his own and enjoyed by people

When he was rattling them off I was just thinking "has this guy seen all my snowflake iron accounts?"
I hope blacksmithing pairs well with ForgeFighter
as a Yorkshire born, this was hard to watch.. gg bro xD

Hoping Minefighter is some sort of dungeon/raid skill kinda like slayer. You get assigned a dungeon, you go in and clear it, get rewarded etc

Great video Rubes, keep it up :D
Great video Rubeus!!!
I love the happy asshole personality. More like this.
Minefighter could be like a thing where when you mine certain things you get attacked by enemies in waves while you skill. almost like l4d alarm when you mine.
Minefighter and Watchperson could be faction skills? Like if Varrock had a skill to be a Varrock guard. *bigest of shrugs*

You should try old school runescape, it has a very simple and intuitive UI compared to the mess of modern runescape
@@hardslaps I'll give it a try, thanks 😊

just wanted to say you are the only MMO tuber I trust at the moment, keep it up.
those capes have to be some of the worst i have ever seen in a game.

I'll main runescape and try f2p brighter shores when it comes out.
