Abdul Muttalib used to separate Sahak from Nufail in the pasture and made Sahak wear a leather chastity belt with a lock and kept the key to himself. Subsequently, the boy was picked up by an old Jewish lady named Janaza and was raised by her. When al-Khattab grew up, he became a woodcutter. While he used to be out cutting wood Sahak would check up on him while hiding. However, one day Khattab saw her bottom despicably revealed, while not knowing who she was he coupled with her. As a result, Sahak became pregnant with Hantama. When she had the girl, she left her near a rubbish site in Makkah. The girl was later picked up by Hisham ibn Mughira and raised by him. When she had grown up, al-Khattab fancied her as he used to often visit Hisham. As a result, al-Khattab asked for her hand in marriage from Hisham. 'Abdullah reported: We contracted temporary marriage giving a handful of (tales or flour as a dower during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and during the time of Abu Bakr until 'Umar forbade it in the case of 'Amr b. Shias are Muslims. Anyone who praises Allah and believes Muhammad was his messenger is a Muslim. Every time there is a video about shia people doing things in a certain way the wolves come out. Did we NOT learn from lslam to respect the prayers of other people? Who is right and who is wrong will be judged and we cannot judge that. It is only upto Allah to reject or accept someone's prayer and Allah knows best.

I have no problem having a civil discussion with a christian, bhuddist, atheist....because they are clear about their disbelief in Islam, but when the shia claim to be part of Islam and then use our Quran and our history to call us KUFFAR, they are the ones responsible for causing division and mischief in our Ummah. The way to salvation is to traverse the path of the Prophet and his Companions! To be upon the Quran and Sunnah upon the Methodology of the Salaf-us-Saalih (righteous past predecessors)! Whom do they consist of ? righteous past predecessors? They consist of 3 generations AND those who follow and traversed their path and methodology, The 1st generation being that of the Sahaba (Companions, a Companion is one who saw or met the Prophet and accepted Islam and submitted and died upon the truth), The 2nd generation being the Tabi'een (Followers), those who saw the Sahaba (Companions) and not the Prophet. The 3rd generation being the At Tabi'een (Followers of the Followers), those who saw the Followers of the Companions, but they Themselves did NOT see the Sahaba (Companions). And the last part consists of Those who Followed and Traversed upon Their path! This verse from the verses of Allah is sufficient! Quran 9:100 "And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success." May Allah make us be from those who follow them exactly, in speech, action and belief. Dear reader of this post may Allah have mercy on you, Refrain from speaking ill of the Companions and those who followed them upon goodness! Whatever I have said which is correct, then that is by Allah's mercy and grace. And if I have said something wrong then it is from myself and I hope Allah forgives me, just like I hope that Allah shall forgive me and cover me on the day of accountability.
Reading one Ayiet, without understanding the true meaning, And making it an indisputable injunction is misguidance, and a great sin. You are misguiding people. Tell me does the verse referring to 'first of the Muhajirun and Ansar', applies to all those people regardless - Does that mean all of them did not rebel or disobeyed prophet(s). If so History does not support your views. Qur'an tells us that these people dis-obeyed and disputed with prophet(s), to the point that Qur'an admonished them. The words 'muhajir and ansaar' only point to specific people who were sincere and committed to the mission of prophet(s), and not those who followed half hearted or with their personal agenda. e.g. - When we talk about paradise for the believers, we mean genuine believers and not those who are Muslims in name only.

The Shia's have been issued with a fatwa from Ayatollah Khamenei to respect the ashabas to the highest level possible and not to swear or blaspheme against them, when you say that the scholars should be held responsible is where i lose you- which scholar has put up which shia against which sunni in which region and which war? In Syria we have our Sunni brothers guarding the Shia shrines, in Africa you cant even tell the difference between Sunni and Shia- we inter-marry as well, from a Shia point of view we are seeing a lot of unity and no animosity between us- please back up your claims with political facts and then lets talk, please convince me my brother, then we can talk on the level of making our scholars meet and discuss.

Mixing of genders is not Haram , it's a territory that one is to be cautious in _ with taqwa self control is possible . There is also the cultural aspect _ if the lecture was given in a western facility where non Muslim's were invited and anti discrimination were adhered to then it's not this massive issue . We are all under the banner of Laa ilaaha illallah, Muhammad ar Rasoolullah. Shi'a was a term to indicate preference to Ali ibn Abi Talib after the passing of the Prophet, and is considered just that. Despite who we preferred after the Prophet, we still follow the same God, the same Prophet, and the same Qur'an. Allah (SWT) says: [3:103] "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided." By spreading fitnah of separation, you are doing the exact opposite of what Allah (SWT) is saying. Islam is an ummah, and we must remain together. May Allah guides whom he pleases. Wallahu A'lam.

Imam Malik recited the verse, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh with the disbelievers and gentle among themselves. So that the disbelievers may become enraged with them." (48:29) He then said, "Whoever becomes enraged when the Sahâbah are mentioned is the one about whom the verse speaks." (Tafseer al-Qurtubi) So your argument is invalid buddy, once you enrage and slander any one from the sahaba you're out of the fold of Islam, besides the shia are worst than jews and christians, they have a different version of Quran and distorted beliefs.

am I wrong to say that there shouldn't be sects at all in Islam? Its one ummah and one ummah only. That's absolutely correct BUT to understand the true meaning you need to think and also take into consideration the Qur’anic verses. Qur'an says, Allah does not test one beyond his ability (2:386). There people who have no ability to research. They rely on others showing the way. Most of these people end up on the wrong path because of their limited ability and the because of the people who misguide them. Women (and some man) follow what they are taught and find it difficult to free themselves from the misconceptions hammered into their brains. Allah(s) says he is merciful. Do believe that the merciful Allah will put these people into hell - when He(swt) himself says He does not test any person beyond his ability? - In that case you your self are on wrong and cannot wrench yourself free from the misconception drilled into you The truth is, although all factions but one are wrong, the people who follow the wrong (because of their lack of knowledge) will not be sent to hell. In fact prophet(s) prayed for the people of Sham, Egypt, Yemen ( what does this tell you?) While he refused to pray for people of Nejad, stating that fitnah and a horn of shitan shall rise form there. Know that Nejadi (birth place of Wahabi-salafi) Fitnah is what we have been warned against - AND FITNAH CANNOT BE ISLAM. A1110001 - I just corrected the mis-conception, that Muslims have about this 73 factions and 72 of them will be thrown into hell. The truth is 72 are on the wrong BUT only those who know they are on wrong and continue to follow regardless will be thrown in hell. miasghar When the Prophet (saw) talked of the 73 sects I doubt that he was talking in the numerical sense. I think in Arabic it means many sects. No one has the right to say of a person who has recited the Kalima that he is someone other than a Muslim. Besides I think we all should follow the axiom "Judge not lest ye be judged!"

I agree with Yasir Qadhi that we should never harm or attack anyone due to there beliefs, BUT I also think it's very important that we as Sunni Muslims should teach our children that Shia's are not part of Islam. Lets solve it like this. When we have a khilafah the Muslims will pay zakat, and the shiites and others can pay jizya. We don't need to harm them, but we will leave each other alone. Also when a shiite area becomes Muslim, they have a right to destroy the shrines just as the prophet did after mecca became a Muslim land, or just how ibrahim did even though majority of the people were mushrikeen.
I love Yasir For the sake of Allah but it hurts to hear some of the comments he made. I would agree with peace with other misguided groups/sects to in courage peaceful dialog and debates but I would certainly not want to be united with them. If people of Ahul Asunnah united with deviant groups it would show that we are promoting their deviance. The world is need of quality muslims not quantity. Today we are many but unfortunately most are misguided and pathetic. It's a very complicated situation in the Arab world with all the conflict going on but I can tell from first hand experience of the aggression and oppression of the shia/alawite towards the sunnis. I have family that have been killed, beaten and oppressed only because they say we are sunni. Islam teaches not to be the aggressor but when push comes to shove and deviant groups start fighting us first then we must repond and defend ourselves. When the slave boy Nufail had seen Sahak in the grazing field, he fancied her and seduced her into having a sexual intercourse with him, so Sahak said: “I have no way of fulfilling what you want because of this chastity belt which only Abdul Muttalib has a key to” to which Nufail replied: “do not worry as I can get it off”. Subsequently, he grabbed some butter and grease and began to work it through the leather belt and her skin until it slid to her thighs.
Nufail coupled with Sahak and as a result Sahak became pregnant with al-Khattab. After she had given birth to the boy, she left him around one of the nearby rubbish sites at night out of fear of Abdul Muttalib. Subsequently, the boy was picked up by an old Jewish lady named Janaza and was raised by her. When al-Khattab grew up, he became a woodcutter. While he used to be out cutting wood Sahak would check up on him while hiding. However, one day Khattab saw her bottom despicably revealed, while not knowing who she was he coupled with her.
As a result, Sahak became pregnant with Hantama. When she had the girl, she left her near a rubbish site in Makkah. The girl was later picked up by Hisham ibn Mughira and raised by him. When she had grown up, al-Khattab fancied her as he used to often visit Hisham. As a result, al-Khattab asked for her hand in marriage from Hisham. Hisham married Hantama to Khattab and they had Umar.”

I gave you a number of narrations and even your nasibi scholars like Uthman al Khabeeth (la) narrates that narration of Umar's birth and stands by it because he himself had a nasty birth.
2- To test the Ummah, the same reason RasoulAllah (saww) married Aisha (la) as said in bukhari. Did you even know that in your sahihs RasoulAllah (saww) divorced Hafsa (la) for a period because of her nusb. Surah al Tahreem was revealed for her and Aisha (la). Aisha and Hafsa (la) plotted against RasoulAllah (saww).
3- Imam Ali (asws) did not marry his daughter to the one who killed her mother. You scholars just force feed you bullshit.

6- Mut'a is a legal marriage, RasoulAllah (saww) allowed it and it is in the Quran, Umar (la) forbid it:

Sufism is also a part of Sunni Islam. I think only the Salafis are the one that take issue but many Sunni Muslims disagree with them too. What is the discrepancy that you are having?

The way to salvation is to traverse the path of the Prophet and his Companions!
To be upon the Quran and Sunnah upon the Methodology of the Salaf-us-Saalih (righteous past predecessors)!
Whom do they consist of ? righteous past predecessors?
They consist of 3 generations AND those who follow and traversed their path and methodology,
The 1st generation being that of the Sahaba (Companions, a Companion is one who saw or met the Prophet and accepted Islam and submitted and died upon the truth),
The 2nd generation being the Tabi'een (Followers), those who saw the Sahaba (Companions) and not the Prophet.
The 3rd generation being the At Tabi'een (Followers of the Followers), those who saw the Followers of the Companions, but they Themselves did NOT see the Sahaba (Companions).
And the last part consists of Those who Followed and Traversed upon Their path!
This verse from the verses of Allah is sufficient!
Quran 9:100
"And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success."

Reading one Ayiet, without understanding the true meaning, And making it an indisputable injunction is misguidance, and a great sin. You are misguiding people.
Tell me does the verse referring to 'first of the Muhajirun and Ansar', applies to all those people regardless - Does that mean all of them did not rebel or disobeyed prophet(s). If so History does not support your views. Qur'an tells us that these people dis-obeyed and disputed with prophet(s), to the point that Qur'an admonished them.
The words 'muhajir and ansaar' only point to specific people who were sincere and committed to the mission of prophet(s), and not those who followed half hearted or with their personal agenda.
e.g. - When we talk about paradise for the believers, we mean genuine believers and not those who are Muslims in name only.

10.) One should curse the above after each prayer.

12.) Faathima should complain about Ali's big stomach, no wealth and bad features.
13.) Abu Bakr and Umar are Kaafirs
14.) Abu Bakr is calf on Bani Israel.
15.) Ali is a mosquito and a fly.

11.) After making muta Once - The stage of Hussain is reached. After making muta twice - The stage of Hasan is reached. After making muta thrice- The stage of Ali is reached. After making Muta Fourth- The satge of Rasulullaah (Sallallaho Alaihi wa Sallam) is reached

Keenly there will be more people particularly the Muslim Scholars will have the same view. We might disagree on certain issue so far it has their own argument, it has to be respect. Yet, it not includes those are very extremist thought in insult other views.
Quran was revealed to prophet Muhammad PBUH, NOT any others. Therefore, all others become invalid. Shia's are a political wing not a religion.

You should understand the subject before you call people towards it. Yes Prophet(s) said his ummah will divide into 73 factions - AND all but one will be righteous. That's absolutely correct BUT to understand the true meaning you need to think and also take into consideration the Qur’anic verses.
Qur'an says, Allah does not test one beyond his ability (2:386). There people who have no ability to research. They rely on others showing the way. Most of these people end up on the wrong path because of their limited ability and the because of the people who misguide them. Women (and some man) follow what they are taught and find it difficult to free themselves from the misconceptions hammered into their brains.
Allah(s) says he is merciful. Do believe that the merciful Allah will put these people into hell - when He(swt) himself says He does not test any person beyond his ability? - In that case you your self are on wrong and cannot wrench yourself free from the misconception drilled into you
The truth is, although all factions but one are wrong, the people who follow the wrong (because of their lack of knowledge) will not be sent to hell. Only those who know and deliberately follow the wrong are aggressors.
Secondly, When prophet(s) said his ummah will divide into 73 factions, he(s) did not say they will become disbelievers. In fact prophet(s) prayed for the people of Sham, Egypt, Yemen ( what does this tell you?) While he refused to pray for people of Nejad, stating that fitnah and a horn of shitan shall rise form there. Know that Nejadi (birth place of Wahabi-salafi) Fitnah is what we have been warned against - AND FITNAH CANNOT BE ISLAM. The fitnah from Nejaad is not a faction of Islam but a fitnah harmful to Islam.

A1110001 - I just corrected the mis-conception, that Muslims have about this 73 factions and 72 of them will be thrown into hell. The truth is 72 are on the wrong BUT only those who know they are on wrong and continue to follow regardless will be thrown in hell. Those who follow the wrong path without realizing will not deserve hell - Allah is just and merciful. If you study this with open mind you will come to the same conclusion.
miasghar When the Prophet (saw) talked of the 73 sects I doubt that he was talking in the numerical sense. I think in Arabic it means many sects. No one has the right to say of a person who has recited the Kalima that he is someone other than a Muslim. Besides I think we all should follow the axiom "Judge not lest ye be judged!"
Major belief of shiaism is in matam for martyrs of karbala which is directly against QURAN as ALLAH SWT clearly says in QURAN -

Second major belief of shiaism is they consider their 12 imams to be INFALLIBLE AND KNOWER OF UNSEEN! THERE TWO traits EXCLUSIVELY belongs to ALLAH SWT alone so any belief contrary to this is denying TAUHEED and TAUHEED is first pillar of ISLAM
I agree with Yasir Qadhi that we should never harm or attack anyone due to there beliefs, BUT I also think it's very important that we as Sunni Muslims should teach our children that Shia's are not part of Islam. Sunni's and Shia's can be friends like we can be freinds with any type of people BUT when it comes to teaching Islam to our children we are not allowed to use Shia teachers no matter what they say they believe because they are Non Muslim's.

Lets solve it like this. When we have a khilafah the Muslims will pay zakat, and the shiites and others can pay jizya. We don't need to harm them, but we will leave each other alone.
Also when a shiite area becomes Muslim, they have a right to destroy the shrines just as the prophet did after mecca became a Muslim land, or just how ibrahim did even though majority of the people were mushrikeen.

I love Yasir For the sake of Allah but it hurts to hear some of the comments he made. I would agree with peace with other misguided groups/sects to in courage peaceful dialog and debates but I would certainly not want to be united with them. If people of Ahul Asunnah united with deviant groups it would show that we are promoting their deviance.
The world is need of quality muslims not quantity. Today we are many but unfortunately most are misguided and pathetic.
It's a very complicated situation in the Arab world with all the conflict going on but I can tell from first hand experience of the aggression and oppression of the shia/alawite towards the sunnis. I have family that have been killed, beaten and oppressed only because they say we are sunni.
Islam teaches not to be the aggressor but when push comes to shove and deviant groups start fighting us first then we must repond and defend ourselves. At the same time we must help protect ALL civilians regardless of belief.
