I've been driving a Toyota Auris hybrid Touring Sport 2017 since last summer and I think it's a pleasant car in the city and also on longer trips. My summer wheels are the only complaint. They are on 17 inch alloys and have a bit of a stiff ride. Winter tyres are on 16 inch and are more comfortable.
Is it true that Toyota used the bmw n47 engine in this car I called Toyota office today and they said that they didn’t use the bmw engine in this car only the supra
It's the 1WW diesel. It's not a BMW engine, like in the Supra, tho. It's a design derived from the N47 with a lot of changes to it. But since I make fun of the Supra for being "Z4 in drag", I might as well call the 1WW an N47 in drag.
Just test drove one. It's noisy, slow and unresponsive. And that's compared to the 2010 Mazda 3 it was meant to replace. I'm familiar with the drivetrain from a Prius I drove in the past but in the Prius it was much more refined.
Better in every aspect than any other German and French unreliable crap we keep buying here in UK.
Probably all on PCP thats why then trade it in 3 years later

As a South African citizen, I love Toyota. Especially the Auris- manual transmission. The body, colour, rims, etc. It's absolutely perfect.
