Donny’s Vanlife UK is a FRIEND of mind…he travels all around West Country England and shares lots of videos! That’s a beautiful beach and the arch is spectacular!
Family holidays late 1950s into the 60s was always Perranporth. Took 2 full days to drive there there there. Must have spent 100s of hours on the beach exploring rock pools and climbing the cliffs and getting bowled over by huge waves along the shore line. Took my now wife for a holiday in 1977 and while having a romantic walk along the shoreline I stood on a weaver fish. Bloody hell it hurt and swelled up. At the first aid post I wasn't the only one and three had already been taken to hospital. Tuff northener me was having none of that, we went back to the campsite pub and drank till the effects eventually wore off. Thanks for the rekindled memories.
How's she goin'? That is a pretty neat spot Steve!! Lots of caves to explore (at low tide eh) and that 'hidden swimming pool' was pretty nice too. What a spot. Take care!!
