Insane Stirling Engine (almost) Flying Machine

No, it doesn't fly, but is a credit to the mechanical genius of Richard B. Harrigill who dreamed it and made it in 2000. Note the multiple movements and mechanisms: the pilot turns his head and steering wheel to pivot the rudder and cause the machine to change directions. He pulls back on the steering column to move the elevator and cause the craft to pull up and vice versa. Powered by a small stirling engine running on butane fuel (the "bomb" on the belly of the aircraft is the fuel tank). The maker's inspiration was the 1965 film Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines.

I think this is fantastic. I would say that the engineer had an incredible skill to imagine the design and build it. The attention to detail with the various movements is amazing. Magnificent! I think the music is great too. Thankyou for showing it for everyone to see : )
