I'm struggling. I feel sometimes too guilty. Like how can I be happy that Christ died for my sin? How can I rejoice knowing that my sin caused him to be there? I feel so ungracious for wanting to rejoice. I am not worthy. I am not worthy to rejoice. How can I do that? May I please know the way forward? I believe in Jesus. I know my lack of faith in Him, in his salvation for me is an attack from the devil. I know I was saved. But this I struggle with. It's something I always struggled with in my Christian walk, but recently I discovered I'd misunderstood the gospel to be for works. I gave my life to Christ again, but I'm just struggling with so many things, including assurance that I'm believing in the right way this time (it's faith alone), I'm not treasuring Christ as I should, I'm not joyful I'm Him as I should, I'm crying often to God and not praising often, wondering if I have a fake belief and I'm not predestined after all. Please pray for me. Please keep me in your prayers that God would guide me and I would find peace in Him.
Faith in the Lord is not false, just foggy. It sounds like you have a lot to figure out, we all do. Pray for Christ to give you clarity, and know that he WILL give it to you. I recommend doing a Solomon’s prayer. (close your eyes, concentrate in silence, ask Jesus to show you a peaceful place free from pain, and believe he will show you a place. Ask Jesus to reveal himself to you, to show you where he is in this place. Once he reveals himself, thank him. You can try to interact, hug him, praise him. Ask him, humbly, “Jesus, please, show me what I need to know. I am blind, please help me see.”) I will be praying for you, that the Lord give you strength, discernment, and joy!
@@mimmzie9307 thank you. I am grateful for you taking your time to respond. I will do so. I can already see that God used you to reach me in this small way. I pray you stay such a blessing to others
You were born imperfect, there's nothing you or any of us could have done to prevent that. It means you will not get everything right all the time, but you can have a sweet, kind heart and always try to do good. Jesus has made a sacrifice for all of us, so we could benefit from having our sins forgiven. God loves us, He thinks we're worthy, that's why He sent Jesus. Remember that the shepherd left the 99 sheep alone for a while and went to look for the one that was lost. He rejoiced even more when he found the lost sheep (Luke 15:4-7) God will always be there for you, He knows your struggles and He loves you unconditionally. Trust that the one who made you, your Creator, is faithful and will help you out. He will give you wisdom if you ask for it in prayer. I hope I was able to help you out a bit. Be blessed!

Great explanation of the pitfalls of one possible answer for this question. But my question is, what about someone like myself who has trouble connecting emotionally or "feeling" anything the way some others do, but still puts full trust in Christ, including trusting that He will honor my faith and joy, no matter how small?
Many of these questions would be answered, in my opinion, if more believers were filled in the Holy Spirit and were led by Him. We need pastors, but many of these could be answered by just seeking Him.
Always busy doing housework and cooking, taking care of the little ones, no time to read bible or spend time with God and just sit around, so busy it feels stressful. I don’t feel like a Christian when I’m like this. And my husband is asking me if I’m a Christian cause I’m angry anxious and stressed out when this goes on to long.
You aren't in trouble, we walk by faith, not feeling. Sometimes I cry. Sometimes in this fallen world I feel so sad. I think that is the effects of the Atmosphere around us. But we can change the Atmosphere by singing Praise and giving Glory to God and Jesus Christ for our Salvation. The "joy" rises knowing we have an eternal destiny, not of THIS world. Thank you, Lord Jesus! Love you, in Jesus, brother.

Matt so many people have fought they've been saved for years and never were saved when they did not follow the word of God. if you listen to your pastor all these years that's probably the reason why man's word over God's word. Yes a person can lose salvation when God Himself told me we could lose the Holy Spirit. So look at all the lying pastors. Preaching man's word. Does it say a person can lose salvation, it sure does when it says you can be blotted out. Most Christians have staked everything on their denomination. The more I am homeless the more I'm joyless. And plus The Body of Christ ignores me when I ask for help. Which led me into a lust addiction. Just know that the church will be judged.
God's Daughter be careful when you impose judgment on the Body of Christ. If you are in the Body of Christ you be quick to forgive your brothers and sisters in the Lord. Examine your lifestyle. There are genuine people whom are willing to help. You are implying that whatever help you didn’t receive, resulted in addiction to lust as you stated. These are solely your actions. To condemn the Body if Christ, if you are a believer yourself, is shameful. May the Lord bring you the peace, healing, and restoration you need.
Hate it and ask the Lord to please take it away and set you free. Cry if you have too but ask genuinely. Get rid of all porn. You have on your phone and don't let your friends show you anything that is sexual and tell them not to send you any naked or half naked pic's. Delete all pic's and videos you may have on your phone. This is a good start but show the Lord by making an effort, if you get tempted, remember the prayer you asked him to set you free. Faith and actions are synonymous. Can't do it by your own strength so trust in the Lord. God bless you.

Most Christians don't have the Holy Spirit or they would have the law written in their heart and their mind. And most Christians are lawless.

I don't know anything about being a parent but I wouldn't worry about it because you have faith and doing everything you can.
Try and wake up a half of a hour earlier and spend time with God
