I am in the process of reposting the content that was formally in github.com/chrhodes/Office to a new repo. github.com/chrhodes/VNCOffice More information is available there. Much gratitude for those that have watched the videos and hopefully gotten something of value.
Wish I had found your videos years ago when you released them Chris as there's not really that much advanced stuff out there. When I looked previously didn't find much but now it decides to show up after all this time for me 🙂
Hi Chris, I've been using Visio for a lng time but have watched your videos and just wanted to say thanks for producung these! I see they are a few years old now but hope you are still working with Visio as these videos are excellent and wold be great to see some more advanced output like yours.
Enzio, Thank you very much for the comments. I am retired now and am off playing with Phidgets hardware and animating Halloween. Don't do much with the VSTO addins I wrote over my career. Having said that I use Visio practically every week and would be lost without SupportTools_Visio. If you have any questions feel free to reach out directly chrhodesvnc@gmail.com
@@christopherrhodes4218 enjoy your retirement Chris. I just use Visio for my own network diagrams really but was looking at your ribbon and wondered if you had developed those yourself. :-) I looked around thinking it was a new SDK toolset that had been released. 🙂 All the best for the future.
@@enziofrancescoli288 I would be glad to post the most recent copy of SupportTools_Visio to Dropbox and send you a link. It shouldn't be too hard to get it running on your local machine. Where are you located? We could do a Zoom session to review anything you wanted. I am going to record a few more videos covering how to create a Visio AddIn using Prism and WPF like I used in SupportTools_Visio. If there is anything in particular you would like to understand, just ask.
@@christopherrhodes4218 Hi Chris that would be really great to try your tools out - many thanks for the offer. I am in the UK and would definitely look forward to seeing more videos etc. from you for sure. 👍
@@enziofrancescoli288 Sounds great. I have created a new Repo github.com/chrhodes/VSTOTraining.git and will work on creating the main structure of SupportTools_Visio. Been a long time since I created an AddIn from scratch :) Will be fun to make this a retirement project! I will create some videos to document the journey. I don't want to post a link to Dropbox here. Would you be willing to send me you email address so I can send you a link to the compiled current version of SupportTools_Visio Send it to chrhodesvnc@gmal.com Call me Christopher
I as well have used Visio for a long time (20 years) but am finding much value with the content you have put together. Thank you!
@danielspinks9006 See my reply below to Enzio. Same offer to you.
