I've been running hog puppet/seeking shield since release and love it. Max puppet this week
Its funny how a 13 star war is now considered a dominant defensive display, while at town hall 15 a 13 star war was considered a dominant attacking display. Also, I miss 30 minute long eric videos during town hall 15 where almost every attack went down the wire.
Those were fun to watch and listen to in the background, loved the commentary
Supercell definitely made th 15 too hard for the average casual player however I feel as if the top town hall has always been pretty difficult. They went a little too far at making th 16 easy. Most of the players who can play the new town hall are not very casual so it’s probably more sensical to balance the top th to be difficult and the lower ths naturally get easier because of new units. I think it’s kinda weird that these pros are complaining it’s too easy while not getting completely consistent perfect wars which is what I would expect from pro players in an easy meta but that’s unrelated.
@@joshuafrank1246 yes, that is a huge issue, the pro's and casuals attacking the same bases with the same armies. I don't see how both communities can be satisfied at the same time

I really think the game isnt too easy rn, it's just that players on the top clans have adapated to the th 15 which was so ridiculously busted that they became too good.

Th15 was a step in the right direction. EVERYONE should not 3 star. A 3 star should be the extreme exception. This balance SUCKS
TH16 is easier than TH15 and Supercell nerfed defenses a lot before TH15 and introduced all these Hero equipment that opened so many new strategies for attacks that it will take months to perfectly balance. Max TH16 is next to near impossible to the casual player since their equipment is not up to level and equipment level is the most important factor over hero level, especially after the Hero Potion Rework.
The 1s invis on Hog puppet is so good! Wish that 1s was on the other puppets as well to make them relevant.
Barb puppet just needs a rework, maybe buff the permanent stats or increase the amount of barbs spawned

Or maybe people should save their Eternal Tome for the Barb Puppet. Main issue with Barb Puppet is that It only synergizes with the Quake Boots to destroy the king's Surroundings, but It does not Synergies well at all with the Rage Vial, Guantlet and Vamp Stache. Barb puppet with good Eternal Timing can decimate areas much faster than Guantlet, especially open areas, but Guantlet is much more reliable in the long run. @@pipysnipy5929

i think an appropriate buff would be to add a .5 second stun to anything the root rider hits and to add 200 hp for every building destroyed

Just a question out of curiosity, do people enjoy the new meta both as audience members and as players ? I used to love watching th15 wars since they were very unpredictable. But currently it’s just not the same , guaranteed everyone will 3 star with occasional misses here and there. It’s quite boring imo, I hope they just balance the game out and make competitive coc great again
@EricOneHive.....The reason for hog puppet surgence is cuz of the -ve bug in haste vial when it is paired with royal gem...royal gem looses all its passive boosts during the ability time... hence hogs will have more dps

Another thing with aarris attack is that if you look his army got hit with basically 3 poison spells. Two from the spell towers and then from the townhall. There was hardly ever a moment where his army wasn’t in poison. Riders are already slow and poison slows down through eternal tome gives more time for defenses to attack

I’m so happy to see that the hog rider is being considered by the pro players now I thought it was going to be really good. The second it was revealed it is incredibly good for recovering your champion when she’s under heavy fire, and those hog riders are stronger than they look, especially at the lower Townhall level.
Root rider dont need buff they need to be deleted 😂
Root riders should be 22 housing space and HP reduced from 7400->7200. That would make them strong but not broken
Or maybe they reduce the housing space to 19 so they can be affected by spring traps to be countered?!

All they need to do is add a lvl to spring traps to hit 20 capacity. RR will suck if that happens.

level up the spring traps .... max level spring traps can throw root riders..... leave the cap at 18 for lower levels.... balances th15 and 16 without affected lower halls
I think once the haste vial bug is fixed perhaps the royal gem x haste vial will be more used.

I think the meta would be fixed if there was another strong defense but it might be weird with eagle, monolith, town hall, and then another high value target. So maybe they need to add a new defense that is similar in strength to the combined defenses and have 2 of them? They could condense it even more with combined xbow. But nonethless there needs to be a new defense or a buff of multi inferno towers or something to make it harder.
The Es of the heros doesn't affect the defensive heros except if we compare them to pre Es heros. Which they are significantly weaker after the update.

Never thought about the Hero’s when the ability’s were added , and then the hero’s base stats nerfed that on defense there so much weaker
reducing the movement speed would be the best nerf. you can spam it , but it won't help to get a fast attack.
Stalwart and early attack went double perfect and same time 1:31 for each not sure how you decide who wins after that.

What do you think about this idea. 10v10 war. 5 th16 and 5 th15. th15s will attack and th16s will defend. Based on the current meta th15 max troops can 3 star max th16s.

For RC it seems Hog puppet and Haste Vial is the current meta.
All of RCs Es are good. I would put the health gem last.
Supercell Need To Increase every Defence Damage per sec by 70% + Increase Rage Spell tower Increase high damage by 80% per sec + Our traps like black and red mines + Gaint bomb Effect increase by 90% then game is proper balanced From the 10 the 16 do this supercell, then something interesting to watch tournament + regular wars

Every single equipment is viable except maybe archer puppet and barb puppet. It’s wild seeing people debate on which is the best since they can all be very good
Archer puppet is really good tho, when you switch to frozen arrow you really feel the lack of healing
@@matitello4167 you mean the health recovery? Honestly, it’s basically nothing when you look at the stats. The max health recovery is 440. Now just look at some other equipments, let’s use the healer puppet. The self healing at max is 35 per second. That means in just 12.5 seconds it heals the same amount as the archer puppet. Over a 3 minute attack it heals 14x the amount the max archer puppet heals. And that’s just the self healing. Sure, it’s a nice little one time boost but the stat for it actually sucks when you take a closer look.
@@justinjosie5417 you didnt get the point, if you use her skill automatically, then you wont have 12 seconds for the healers to heal her, with the frozen arrow and invis, it has happened to me that the skill activates but the archer queen dies instantly because of a scattershot or a giant bomb, that wouldnt happen with the archer puppet, and yes, you could just activate the skill manually before she gets to low health, but there are a lot of people who doesnt do that, and to that people archer puppet may be better in some scenarios
Just use healer puppet. It's best for when you are using heros for side walk
@@matitello4167 I get what you’re saying but you’re convincing yourself that the 440 hp recovery is valuable when in reality, it’s not. Compare the frozen arrow. It slows defenses as it shoots. The scattershot deals 600 damage per shot. If it slows it enough to just stop one shot you save 600 hp. Yes, I know that the archer puppet gives you health back but the survivability of the frozen arrow is far better. Not to mention the things you said like the scattershot and giant bomb do more than 440 damage so your archer queen would still die from the archers triggering them. Just the splash damage from the scattershot deals more than 440. Just from the slowing down of defenses the queen can easily save 10x the hp that the archer puppet recovery gives. Again, you might think the one time recovery is good but over the course of the attack compared to self healing from healer puppet (which is constantly going, you don’t need to activate your ability for that) or the health saved by constantly slowing down defenses, the health recovery is basically nothing on the archer puppets. If you get to a point where your archer puppet ability activated to give you health, you have to remember that with the other equipments you wouldn’t even be at that point. You would still have far more health and not have activated your ability yet.
In my opinion, bases should get harder to destroy with a 3 as you progress in the game. TH16 should be the hardest, not the easiest..

excessive tournaments, excessive game updates, excessive new items. this game is on self destruct mode. Big difference between TH15 and lower THs and TH16, almost a different game.
Hero equipment also should be nerve. Like giant gauntlet its a splash damage traps didnt work on it, frozen arrow is like illegal, people deploying their queen front of single inferno, single inferno cant do nothing. Fox making RC invisible for 4 second, hast vial is getting like bost rocket. Warden healing tome, rage tome. This all types ecupments killing the game
