I personally love Bill because I agree with many of his views. But I understand that a lot of people don't. The thing that makes him objectively great is stuff like what you described. ANYONE can appreciate what he's saying there. He's just the best at finding ways of describing things that we all "see" but don't think to articulate.

Problem is Bill Burr is too real for politically correct commentating on t.v.
I was in Philly when the eagles won. It was during a series of very tense events from different demographics. When the eagles won, it was a moment that the entire city shared. Almost everyone got out of their apartment to high five strangers and shout in celebration.
It didn't solve the cities issues, but it was encouraging.

I'm British, and as a Manchester United fan, (soccer) when we lost the Champions League final back in like 09. Me and my friends just walked out of the pub completely silently. all broke off and didn't speak to each other for about 4 days. Which was rather impressive because we all lived in the same house.
