So glad my interest in the Mideli AKX10 led me to your test drive video. You are a fantastic musician, excellent teacher and great judge of quality sound. Loved to see and hear you play. All the best.
Great little keyboard. I bought one about a year ago. It's great for taking along for a small music session with friends at local bars. I have a Korg PA 4X 76 key but this is more convenient and the quality of the internal speakers with decent volume levels is a plus.
Kris, it’s awesome you did a review of this! I bought mine several months ago and love it! Also you can’t beat the $699 price! I only wish I could play like you but I love to tinker with it. Lots of fun!
Thank you Kris for posting this video! You make it come alive!! I recently bought this keyboard and generally love it for its sounds and capability but I struggle to find a good tutorial video series on all of the functions of this keyboard IN ENGLISH! Would you please post one that describes how to get in depth with this keyboard? It also does allow recording of voices, along with harmonies, if I'm not mistaken. That is one of many things in which I'm interested in learning more about it. I'm also curious about style creation and what amp you are playing it through.
Thanks for this demo video!!! Im a truck driver and Im looking for a good board to practice on while on the road. Im getting a Fantom 08 soon and I know it will be too big for work(plus the Mrs wouldnt dare let me take it out of the house🤣🤣🤣). So Im sold on the Medeli!
Good to see another English review of this keyboard. I ran into the first English review and the result is that I bought one and convinced someone else to purchase. Now persons are sending others to check and see what I have so they can know what to buy. I really love this keyboard and will buy more. The price is also very good.
Many of the sounds seem very good over the earphones. Good keyboard, verygood resolution on the screen, drum kits sound.good, to excellent. The piano sound fine, EPianos very good. Organ sounds more than exceptable. Its astounding what you get for your money. What great value, for so called beginners keyboard. I checked the price in Great Britain. The best price that came up was approximately £530, wonderfull keyboard. Thanks for the review 😊
Sir, you are an Excellent Pianist..n..U r Narration was very Informative..and I cancelled my idea for other Synthesizer..I like to buy this one only..Medeli AKS 10..Thanks for sharing..🎹👌👍👍
Great Review of the Medeli Akx10! It is no longer $699.00. Price has been raised everywhere to $779.00. But It is worth every penny! I have been saving my money for the Yamaha Genos. But my luck at the lottery has not happened. But I don't think I'm gonna have to spend $7k when this one looks and sounds pretty good at $779. Thanks for your review of the Medeli AKX10. I love it!
There is a cheaper version of the Medeli, the Thomann AK-X1100. It is identic, the only difference is the storage, the Medeli has 768MB, the Thomann 256MB, for me it is sufficiant, so I bought the Thomann. The price is 658 Dollar, you can get this keyboard only in the Thomann online store. The store is in Germany, but they ship global. Greetings from Germany
@@ChrisT-OThank you. I've seen videos saying that there was very little difference between the two. I hope do downloads and customize my Medeli. ...A crazy thing happened. I bought a used Medeli for $599.00 from zZounds and the package got stuck in the storm so they sent me a brand new one. I got it withen 7 days of making my initial order. It is a really good keyboard!
Kris, thank you once again for such a great video. That keyboard is very much like a Yamaha, and I love it very much. Thank you for playing Rudolf for us and giving us a touch of Christmas at the end of June. I feel like every time you introduce a keyboard to us that I've come over to your house to try out your keyboards and play along with their rhythm styles. You rock!
It sounds like a Yamaha, and has great rhythm styles like a Yamaha. I am surprised at you! To me it's like a Yamaha, because of how it sounds and its rhythm styles!
Parabéns amigo tú és especialista em cima das teclas admiro muito bom profissional você é um deles e mais uma vez parabéns pela lançamento da Medeli akx10.
Very nice video ...and you play so good ! Let me know, can I play the STY files that I have on my USB stick ? I used them on my PSR SX 900 two years ago ?
I have been looking for a used psr8000. I have a Yamaha Tyros 5 76 and it's getting a bit heavy for me. The Medeli AKX10 is 14 lbs lighter! And it sounds great!
I just did order used one from Guitar Center, I am not professional musician but i love to play music. I hope i won't be disappointed but if it will be bad i still can use as midi controller i guess
You really did a brilliant, clear video, do you do tictock versions as this I watched right through,, ofoundit brilliant.... Thank you so much, for speaking and spending time doing this, so very Good, thank you from John and Debra uk 🇬🇧

Do you still like it? your playing skills make it sound great. Anything new and better at this moment to consider in this price range for someone coming from a piano only background?
great but so much extra in there. The onscreen mixer the built in usb to computer audio yes audio and midi capabilities! So no need to buy an audio interface for your computer ! the bluetooth audio and midi in and out as another options, truck loads of connectors on the back you have a Microphone input on proper size jack! the grandsuite software . the ability to make your own packs and share them edit styles on the keyboard and in software as well. the list goes on. This board is Medeli but their branch that builts ASM Hydra synths!. Its solid the base is actually wood not plastic but still light. I could go on and on. theres so much in there its unreal and I gig alot . by the way it has 7 built in velocity curves so you can adjust the response to your playing easily. those 3 buttons above the joystick do things like some guitar sounds to get harmonics. or sax to growl and things like it and thats all programable to fit what you want. It has a 16 track song recorder for midi and various audio options as will so its actually a workstation as well! 256 note polyphony! thats alot of notes 3 layers of sound not 2 like yamaha and then the 4th if you choose left hand.
Impressive. The styles seem very well designed and not busy. The acoustic pianos sounded a bit shrill (your excellent playing helped). I wonder if you are recording line in or through the onboard speakers. Also, it appears you are using variation 4 for all intros. I would imagine intro 1 would calm things, etc. As I write this, the styles keep sounding better. I like it and will check it out. Thank you for making this really long and needed video.
This is great keyboard. I am thinking to buy. Does It has vintage synth voices like pulse wave, square wave etc. Does it has feature to edit voice? Thank you very much.
Wow. Nothing about the sampler? Why? The sampler is wonderfull. The storage system is very good. Being able to store a Patch/program with full options (not only ADSR, but also sends, insert fx, poly/mono, the entire set of the sound is wonderfull. You just load IT in a pack, is not just a simple "sample map". And 768mb is big enough to make a good pack.
