      It was a joke, like all western media is a joke. If you don't fall in line, they demonize you. If you fight back, they censor you. They can collect all the allegations they want, it all comes from the same source. Playing their game I could go on the streets of any country, and start asking people until I hear the one person who agrees with me, whatever fever dream I came up with. And just provide a platform with the ones that say what I want. Leave out the rest. It's like making your own bullets for your own gun. As a Hungarian, it's laughable.

    A better question is: Can America still call itself a democracy? Can you stand in front of the American people and have a discussion with the current opposition parties on how to reduce the number of immigrants or SJWs without being booed off stage? Can you openly criticize in America the LGBT community? Can you question in America the contribution the activists make whether they are useful or not? Can you have any unpopular opinions in America without being censored off the internet? Can you hold a protest in America without NGOs holding a counter protest, thus protesting the protesters? I'm only asking because in Hungary you can do all these things. Plus, our opposition parties don't have to hire armed guards when they go out to campaign against Viktor Orban.
    Guess a dictatorship like ours has its perks...

    Let's take his logic for a second : if for one criticism to be valid against his government, he says that it must be done with the same political conviction that his governement is based on. In that logic, it is simply impossible to offer any criticisms whatsoever because one must therefore necessarily be agreeing with what is going on beforehand, effectively making it impossible to criticize that political conviction and calling upon other political convictions to be silenced in a democratic system that values itself on allowing anyone to freely make a case. He's de facto saying that Hungarians are too dumb to make their own judgments and therefore the government must control 90% of the media to sort it out themselves because the poor little Hungarians can't judge themselves what they hear and see? Here its "you're either with us or against us", "we can only be right or be right, else it's a lie", there's no possible debate.

    It's good to see that at least the international media has the opportunity (sometimes) to ask tough questions from the members of the Hungarian government. Its reason is sad though: they can judge the government publicly, because they don't really know what's going on in Hungary, therefore the government can mislead them with nice and friendly answers. An independent Hungarian medium could refute the speaker within a second, that's why the government never gives an interview to anybody outside its own media empire.

    just for some insight: the Hungarian Healthcare before COVID19 pandemic was in a state where you had to bring your very own toalett paper even not to mention the meds and food for yourself, everything. The Hospital buildings are not renovated since the 80's. The medical instrument and tools are so outdated that most of them are made from single use material and they are re-using it until it brakes or even more if that possible. Now since Covid19 the situation has gotten far worse for example the gov made ultimatum to the doctors and medical staff via a mandatory contract which resulted with 5000 of them resigned and the list goes on and on wit no end.

      @MrLaci0110 I see what you want to hear just the words don't match to the interview. He surely knows how to tell 'care' and 'carry'. Just he told both in the written order for some reasons. It may be accountable to some sort of a mental overload as the next sentence was about how to care 'actually'. I was referring to Google Translate for you to double check the pronunciation. There just click 'Listen'. To say 'care' properly you have to emphasize the middle of the word. While for 'carry' the emphasis is at the end of the word. And native speakers really say it that way. That Google Translate is good. Now you can compare to the words he said. The first word has no ending like '..rry' while the second has a slight one. "Care with' is not an elegant way indeed but 'actually' (to use a word he used that Brits don't do so often) people understand it. It's a bit more advanced than a proper Hunglish.

    • @gyulanagy5910
      @gyulanagy5910 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @MrLaci0110 I know there isn't. Maybe you don't understand. This is the problem. That he's a Hungarian and speaking English on a wrong way with wrong words. Read my previous comment in detail as I described that he may told care instead of carry because of the next sentence. And no, I don't say it was intentional but unconscious. I don't understand how can someone not comprehend this. For your later allegation I'm wondering why do you think that. Can you post any example when 'actually' is used often by a native speaker?
      I've also found you something. Just switch subtitles on. It's auto-generated English. It translates the same way as I mentioned. 'care with' at first and 'carrying' at the second part of the sentence.
