I will do it not because you will become a patron, but because it is a good suggestion.
@ thanks for hearing me out. Another suggestion which I am tired of putting forward to you, the entire world is talking about Hinduism's intrinsic connection with psychedelics (hell, it has been even discussed on Jre multiple times) but i haven't heard a single Hindu intellect talking about it. I can write down a whole essay on this topic being a psychedelic enthusiast (and a Hindu) but please call someone over and talk about it. People say psychedelics open up your mind and drive you towards atheism and whatnot but for me, it has had the total opposite effect. It has bolstered my religious faith and helped me rediscover my roots (cliche, but true). I do it twice every year for the past 6 years. A must-read book btw, Krishna in the Sky with diamonds: Bhagavad Gita a psychedelic guide - Scott Teitsworth. Only a fool will not connect the two after consuming psychedelics. The fact that the psychedelic revolution in the us (the 1960s) was empowered passively by India, psytrance originated in India, Somras being psychoactive in nature, Hindu gods being hybrid in appearance, our music, our colorfulness, and so on tells a lot about it. I know you ain't a drug proponent but guess what, psychedelics are NOT drugs. You the best!

Could have been better if other angles than Indo-Afghan, Afghan-us were also covered... May be useful to have a map also open in the background when talking about terrain/areas... Every culture that's trying to correct their image will show you warmth. Real warm people are those whose beliefs you can question, whose flaws you can discuss in a civil way.
I would love to read a single book or two, written in the form of a travelogue, describing all his international visits, by Abhijit. I would love to read it, seriously.I want to understand the complexity of real societies rather than seeing the black and white narrative of an individual, on a particular international , societal or geopolitical issue. It would be really enlightening. Cause I cannot afford to visit all those countries on my own, being a teenager. 😅
I enjoyed this one very much. Only one doubt : if the Afghans are so guarded in expressing their views, how will one know that what they say are all true and not any lie in that?
