I'm really sorry it feels that way. Sometimes parents don't know how to show their love, but I think there is love somewhere deep down in most people, particularly parents. Unfortunately, knowing that there is love deep down in there somewhere doesn't really do much to ease the pain of not seeing it. Just remember that there will be many other people in life who will love and cherish you. You are enough, whether or not your mom says or thinks so.

This song always reminds me of everything my mom has told me. She’s very open to me with her fears and feelings. I usually don’t return that openness because I simply don’t have it in me. I hope she knows I’m thankful even tho I act like a spoiled and ignorant brat a lot of the time. Hopefully I’ll be better once I’m older and more mature.
