I don’t know about non aggressive, they can get very territorial in my experience. They also eat tropic fish flakes. Honestly I’ve been keeping black skirt tetra for gosh it’s gotta be over 14 years now. They are absolutely beautiful and on quite a lot of occasions will surpass the expected 3-5 year life span.
They are super territorial!! Not great in community tank and one of the most nippy tetras out there! If you would like some tetras in your tank I recommend just your standard neons!
The water temperature isn't the problem. Skirt tetras are terrible fin nippers and won't mind attacking larger fish. Mine tortured a boesmani rainbow fish I had till it had no fins.

They are decent community fish, depending on what is in the tank.
Mostly non-agressive as well.
Ehh imo I see them as a very nippy tetra compared to alot of other breeds in the family
Goated fish fr
-good-
I have a discus aquarium and I want to add this, is that possible?
The water may be too warm for these tetras

Skirt/black widow tetras are SUPER nippy I would never recommend them for a community tank, best is for a species only tank
Is this the plants vs zombie song?
