Trench Crusade has peaked my interest so I'll keep an eye out on how it develops. I was a big fan of Hellgate: London so I'd like something similar to scratch that itch. "Remember the dead, but Fight for the living!"
Another great video discussing the hobby. I learn so much from your talks about games and old school stuffs. I'm always in search of good sites that sell unique and/or old school figs. I'm sure you have great knowledge in that arena. A video of sites for figs and terrain would be very interesting.
There's another pretty good trench set that's slightly more 3D. Warmachine/Hordes has a set where it's still relatively flat, but does add more depth but requires painting for those who might want it
I might try it out, I've always been a big fan of Medieval times and WW1, and to combine them into one game to create a fantasy world where heaven and hell are forever locked in war is a win-win to me! Though I do want to wait to see if they can get their miniature line going before I get too invested, since it would be cool to get some miniatures specifically for the game, since i really don't have a mini collection. But will for sure buy a couple boxes of those trench tiles, since they look like great quality and I won't have to worry about having to assemble and paint terrain.
It's quite exciting, with the rules in active development and playtest results being taken in, considered, and adapted. Game dev in action, very exciting! I've been trying to knock some warbands together for a few games at my club also using my own collection of warzone metals. Hoping to get a game in the next couple weeks.
I was late to the party on the Trench Crusade hype. After reading the rules and the lore, it looks like some good grim dark fun. I have a bunch of minis ftom the Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel kickstarter that will definitely be my stand ins for a Heretic Legion warband.
I read through the quickstart rules but haven't gotten any lead on the table to take it for a spin yet. I like the sort of press your luck aspect of the risky actions. Also, IIRC, some of those Mutant Chronicles minis are called Trenchers so it's as near to perfect as makes no difference.
Just an important correction: the mess happened on the 28Mag discord, flooded it with people who didn't bother to read the rules and posted TC stuff in a lot of none TC channels. also- many chuds among them being dishonest, but not all, some just excited people who failed to read the room. the server was closed for posting for a bit, then a new TC discord was made and all was chill again.
Trench crusade has been the only non gw wargame that has really captured my interest. I can’t wait to get my hands on some stuff in the future! I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to after the kickstarter ended
@ they should of had the kickstarter longer I would of been one of those 888 tier just the fact that there’s a solid team behind it world and it’s lore you can tell that this one is gonna last a while and getting that first box set and everything else with it absolutely take my money
It looks nice, even though it's just another WH40K copy, from a certain point of view. Someone should do something more like, I don't know, 80s Cold War, but it's also a war against the machines, invading aliens, and rising demons. Also, please, no Christian Crusade kinda stuff.

Thank Ron! We’re in the process of “reorganizing,” so a lot of interesting things are turning up. Many of them video-worthy.
Love Trench Crusade's aesthetic. About to dig into the rules to see how it plays.
i fell like norm macdonald is narrating this to me :D

Looks cool, hope all is going well for you and your family. Good luck!
Brom's Dark age game miniatures would fit into trench Crusade and also STL's by Bestiarum Miniatures

I know that there are a number of differences but this is Mordheim 2.0 - and I love it!
I hope these minis are more affordable than Wh40k's because I really want to get into this game!
It's a little dark for me, but I love the channel. Hope you are keeping well.

You can still get Warzone models from Prince August, who did the casting for them originally.
Yeah, Prince August are great for the old minis
Holy fuck it's Norm Macdonald
Those trench tiles look fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

From Top down those trenches really are deceptively "deep" looking. Thanks for sharing!
This is the video that convinvced me to start my Eire Rangers.
Thanks for a deep dive into the trench terrain. I've had my eye on these lately 👍
Looks great, I like it
Oooooh boy I'm excited for this one
Yay! Classic Warzone models :D

Seams fun! I love grim dark games and controversial topics.
Trench coasters, got ya. *XD*
You had me at shrinding higher than Bill Cosby and lower than Adderall
I do love the old Warzone Trenchers
Ooooo... I like the look of this game. Now I'll have to look out for this game's development
When is the kickstarter for this?
According to trenchcrusade.com, sometime this year.
Might try a warm iron on those curled edges, use a piece or flanel or something between iron and should be fine. Very interested in this game myself.
Station Forge's GrimGuard Trench terrain set would work perfect for this game.

Ooh, I actually have a few Warzone figures in my bits box
I hope I can get to play it! I really love everything about TC but I have to convince my friends and/or wife to at least give it a go first.
I’m a Roman Catholic and I absolute love trench crusade people who say it’s heresy gloss over medieval Catholic traditions
Does look good. One of the designers helped make mordheim.
i thought this was goin to be a videogame

If you associate with the enemies of god, consider yourself an opp.
Absolutely sucks that we can’t even get this game. So what is the point you can’t even get anything from this game
Free rules here: www.trenchcrusade.com/playtest-rules
@ no how about the actual minutes and game and terrain and books and expansions and other merk factions.
I would be genuinely shocked if most or all of that stuff wasn't made available sometime after the Kickstarter rewards are delivered.

That sounds neat, you should try working on that idea yourself.
Hard pass... Classic Warzone is far more compelling...
Warzone minis look awesome! They’d be perfect for Trench Crusade. Thank you for the recommendation :)

After seeing the abusive actions the devs have taken. Imma pass on this one. Great channel tho. I'll see you on the next video!❤
What did they do?

I have never seen an IP gain and lose traction so quickly.
The Kickstarter results will tell the tale.
Doesn't seem to be *losing* traction. It just, thankfully, didn't gain a following of alt right weirdo losers
the devs on this game are trash, the majority of the player base is trash, dead on arrival.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out, maybe the Warmachine crowd will take you in

Trash? How?
Hard pass. They showed their hand
I hope to be wrong but that looks awful to me.
