This society has a deep rooted hatred for intellect in general and literature in particular. In the sparsely attended session only three persons seem to have some interest in literature. The learned speaker has aptly observed that in case of more audience, many would either doze off or react. Visual arts and folk music are there all over the world, but no where are they referred to obviate the importance of literature.
