This session is straightforward but a pleasure to work with:
- An amazing vocal performance as you'd expect from Anthony Green (also of Circa Survive)
- Some extremely hard-hitting drums courtesy of Alex Rodriguez

Truly hearing the bass DI isolated like that allowed me to understand the entire tone (+ amp) in perspective. So sick.

This is a fantastic video. So the hats, snare, toms and cymbals were all played at the same time, and he either didn’t play the kick or had the pedal hitting something that wouldn’t make a sound so he could add the kick track later? That’s pretty interesting!

Anyone know how those guitars were recorded? That has that tele crunch but is beefy and I want to know how!

I've always thought the drummer for Saosin was great in terms of skill, but I've always felt he overplays like crazy.
