two weeks in with this tablet..all i can say is wow.., i done all my work with it.i would recommend installing a matte screen protector just to keep scrtches from the pencil
Thank you for this advice! I noticed mine has scratches but it doesn't bother me, I will consider buying the matte when it's time to change the screen protector. (◠‿◕)

Got the gold color using it for nearly 2 weeks its almost replaced my laptop which I have a hard time bringing to seminars/conventions.
Managed to get reports done word documents, spreadsheets, presentations and reading pdf files. Some light editing in lightroom and snapseed.
Multitasking is a breeze got 4 apps open all at once including a game autoplaying in in floating app 😂
Haven't used much the stylus but excited to learn how to take advantage of using it to take down notes.

Got mine yesterday. It was this or the latest iPad Air. But the low refresh rate of the latter made me decide to get this one and I'm very happy with my decision.

Yes, it works well! I use the Xiaomi Pen Gen2. They sell it separately

Idk about you. But if you're willing to sacrifice that floating window, feature offered by miui , then you can actually get most of the hardware and software by turning off miui optimisation.
Miui optimisation fixes lots of problems a normal devices faces, but sadly this is limitation of it. Ie certain apps are unable to run properly in landscape and split screen portrait, so by disabling miui optimisation it will be fixed.
But apparently doing so will cause system to freeze sometimes .. also disabling miui optimisation will make the apps shutdown after you leave them or they'll take more time to start.

yes, I've seen others use a different brand of S.pen that works just fine with Xiaomi Pad 6

I've read that a tablet's system cannot fully function like a laptop. E.g. if you'll need to install a heavy software for work, it's still better to buy a laptop

It lasts around 4-6 hours depending on the apps you use 🙂

I've seen a video na may computer mode din po ang Mi Pad 6 para mas convenient for use as laptop tho I haven't tried pa po. 🤗

I have mi pad 5 and just bought stylus pen (also xiaomi). I love it sooo much! I use it for my university tasks, the stylus is very smooth and comfortable. Totally recommend it!

I haven't coz I don't really play games even on my phone. I've watched reviews by others and they say that it's really good for gaming especially since the refresh rate is up to 144Hz. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
Its performs solidly enough runs genshin 50-60fps at high settings, can get more stable framerates at medium. Also set the display to 60hz for more stability in genshin at 60fps.

Maybe you could convince him by telling him that you'll use it for studies/work. Also, you can tell him that it is actually much cheaper than some cellphones especially an iphone.
