Im trying to get into this game and it seems like the UI has changed a bit since this video but Still very Helpful. Only Issue im having is not being able to get my clutch to work on my pedals.
If you haven't already, have a look at this video, it's based off of a more recent build and might be more helpful. th-cam.com/video/E9vGU_EdvUs/w-d-xo.html I recommend just using the converter and transbrake option and launch off a button. You can still set the transmission to shift manually, but getting the clutch to operate properly is a pain. As for tuning, every car and bike uses converter settings rather than clutch weights and stuff anyway regardless what you choose. The last time I tried it, my clutch did work once assigned (Logitech G29) but if you plan to use that you'll need a way to trigger the cars timing system at launch, either with a separate button press or by combining it with the clutch pedal itself.
Mostly the smoke will tell you your spinning too much. A little bit of smoke on the launch is needed to get the wheel speed up, more than 30-60' is too much.
Follow the red line that represents the RPM's, assuming your starting in 1st, you'll see the red line rise and drop at each gear shift, so every rise is another gear. If your running a 5 speed, it should look like you have 5 red waves. Make sense?
why is this setup only good for 229 .8 mph in the same car and numbers your advertising in my bounty game. I have spent 3 days testing your setup. Is your game a early addition .
Yes this video was made using the alpha version of the game. While the setup itself won't work right in the beta version, the theories all still apply. I have since made an updated version though.
so i have a glitch that is making me not want to play the game i have a constant screen glitch. just flashes black every few seconds it looks like and nothing i change fix it
Maybe try switching through camera views, sometimes the lighting messes with the graphics and switching between kind of clears things up. If that doesn't work, swing by the bounty discord and leave a bug report for the dev, there should be a link for it in the games main menu.
Does this happen at a specific track or everywhere? There are a multiple versions of some of the tracks, a few of them are for no prep or no time outlaw style racing the only thing shown after a run is a win light. I haven't really heard or noticed this being an issue before, so I would check that maybe.

What are the indicators of spinning is it smoke and the tire marks left behind or mainly smoke is indicator

No, the alpha version was free and still is I think, but all the work and development is on the beta version now and it's not.
