These certainly take me back. Miss Rossi (Vera) was head mistress at Hookergate grammar and despite being only the size of ha'porth of copper ruled with a rod of iron. Every Saturday I went to the library upstairs in Middle Street to change my books. Happy carefree days. Thanks for the memories.

The last train to Consett is the same BR class that took the Consett Crusade to London, in fact it could be the same one.
