Mad stuff went down, including a heavy shootout in the lobby of an FBI field office in Chicago.

But like that other one in 1995 that Oil Ship Called the dekar 40-year-old oil tanker took a wrong turn, causing them to spill in San Juan Island Washington it was the crazy disaster. Everyone experienced not to mention three people almost lost their lives during the fire. You guys probably already heard the media story about that Coast Guard Team that saved two people that were trapped in a fire, and they left one to die, but apparently he managed to swim after being saved by whale it was on the newspapers.

There was also a strange woman who’s full name has never been determined, but the police has given her a name: Trinity. A couple of days before Mr. Anderson went missing, he was spotted at a nightclub talking with the woman very closely, though the nature of their conversation is unclear. That same woman had incapacitated two police units and evaded capture a day prior. Speculation has circulated that she was searching for an illegal hacker known as Neo, but the investigation is still ongoing.
Went to Jurassic World as a kid with my family. It was amazing. The T.rex was always my favorite, and it's stated she was from the original park. I'm pretty sure she was the same rex that was terrorizing northern California and Washington State. Hope she's still around.
she is,i work at the DFW with my little sister and i heard the T.rex was handed over to the company biosyn. They were collecting dinosaurs and putting them in a base somewhere in italy. She's probaly there roaming, unless she died of old age.
I was holidaying in San Diego in 1997, doing some night fishing off one of the piers. I saw the strangest thing. A massive cargo ship ran around, and unless the fog was playing tricks with my eyes, I swear I saw a dinosaur.
Oh yeah my mom was camping with my dad before they were married they were in San Juan island washington at the time when the Dakar liberia oil ship caused an oil spill the owner of the company benbrook oil tried to sell the orca whales to aquarium but was caught and the orca whales manage to travel across the fire it was unbelievable. I mean this guy Jesse whatever made a book about it just like his other book about the Northwest adventure Park not to mention that was the same whale that was from the northwest adventure Park show in 1993.
It was probably just the wind and nothing to worry about. Persistent reports of hallucinations are an indicator that one may need to be relocated for their own safety. Carry on and be well, citizen.
Great work! One story I recommend you cover, albeit there’s not much to go on, is the curious incident at Thule Station and Outpost 31 in 1982, Antarctica. There’s so many bizarre conspiracy theories about what happened, but some sources (if they can be trusted) claim it has to do with an alien spacecraft found frozen in ice. It’s strange mysterious iceberg of information I implore you to look into.
Oh yeah, that's a very interesting case. An entire Norwegian research team gone, just like that, over the course of a few days or so, with basically no information whatsoever on what happened to any of them. Even with the lack of public information, it would be a very interesting topic for Crime Directive to cover at some point, as well as the similar incident that occurred on Bouvet Island in 2004, which I believe he has expressed interest in looking into in a future video. Coincidentally enough, conspiracy theorists also claim there was extraterrestrial involvement in that incident too.
Ah, the antarctic Roswell. Didn't one of the bases blow up? If you ask me it was some mining company trying to skirt around environmental agreements by pretending it was "research", but they accidentally detonated their survey charges. No need for 'aliens', but you know the crazy stuff the internet makes up
this channel is absolutely perfect, i remember talking to people about how cool it would be to have a channel talks bout events from movies like it was a documentary on real events and this is everything i could've ever imagined it to be, 10/10
My great aunt has worked as a medic in a small fishing town in Costa Rica called Bahía Añasco for over 40 years now, and she says there were a lot of reports of lizards that bit children just a couple months before the Isla Nublar incident, and after what happened with the island back in 2018 the reports are coming back in, so I'm pretty sure those "lizards" were actually dinosaurs that have been getting off the island somehow. [meta] This was the first video I've seen of yours, and it's fantastic, watching an in-universe documentary about the events of Jurassic Park is a really fun way to revisit the story. If you're looking for ideas for future videos, you could make one based on Godzilla, any version of the character you'd like. Wikizilla already did a video in-universe for their Monsterverse timeline, so you could take a look at that for inspiration. [/meta]
My Mom actually worked for Hammond at Jurassic Park, she was the engineer who came up with the idea for self driving cars. Of course, she only told me this after the San Diego incident due to the non-disclosure agreement my mom signed.
and then she got eaten alive by the Velociraptors when that fat hacker turned the electric fences off freeing the Velociraptors along with all the other dinosaurs poor woman didn't stand a chance😭😭
I am an Indonesian living in Jakarta, our capital city. Heard some rumours recently that a local tycoon with connections to the Java Criminal underground mafia has managed to buy a Dinosaur in a secret auction sometime ago. He’s planning to give it as a Dowry in his wedding to a Balinese princess. Used to think that it’s just a rumour… but then I saw your Documentary… Suddenly everything makes sense. 😮
I love “in universe” documentaries, because all of this info is from the two novels, but you tend to forget stuff after not reading the books after a while.
😍 Jurassic Park is hands down my favorite movie of all time, it got me into my lifelong passion/interest in dinosaurs, and introduced me to my favorite dinosaur of all time T. Rex 🦖 I've probably watched it hundreds of times and it still amazes me every time I watch it especially the T.Rex scenes still get chills 😂🫣 So thanks for making this ❤️😊
Has anyone heard about that orca whale story called Willy that orca whale that was Oregon that did that was in a dolphin tank by the owner northwest adventure park. That same year in Jurassic Park
My uncle worked at a Blockbuster in San Diego, back in 1997. He saw a man being eaten alive by that dinosaur at the door of his shop. He didn't turn up to work the next day, because he was shiting it a bit in case the dinosaur was still knocking about in the city. He got a verbal warning for his absenteeism, which he successfully appealed.

Great job digging up these details to unearth the near-forgotten history of Isla Nublar. The inherent instability of the island and Nedry turning on Hammond always reminds me how a single star in the sky (and a background extra named Sylvia) was just enough to turn Seahaven upside down and inspire brave Truman Burbank to free himself from Kristoff's clutches. Can't wait to see your 25th anniversary exclusive on Truman next month!!
Man, I was a little kid when the Malcolm interview came out. I didn't get too much of it at the time. But it did spark my interest in Dinosaurs. I was in middle school when the San Diego incident happened. Everyone at school wouldn't stop talking about it.
In a way this reminds me of the Kong attack of 33. Where some people (forgot the names) just nabbed a giant ape from some island and showed him off in NYC. Didn’t end well for anyone involved Or maybe I’m confusing this with the San Diego incident of 97
I heard about that didn’t they call Kong the ape wonder of the world the filmmaker Carl denham captured him along with few boat crews My grandfather told that story his dad was one of the representative of Carl denham back in 1933 before moving to California he said this thing was huge like something out of a Hollywood movie and I shot it down on the Empire State building. It tragedy Carl denham said in quote it was beauty that killed the beast what did he mean by that?
@@wilsonfilms7641I think he was just romanticizing the idea that his fortunes were lost because of a monstrous beast being taken away from his freakish horror show. One of those things he and his crew came back with, one of my history books called it something long, but shortened it to, “Y. Gohira,” or something like that. I never can remember if it was Gohira, Gokira, or Gojira. Whatever it was, the photos shown in the book creeped me out at my young age. They still do. Then again, wasn’t there an incident in Japan in ‘54 with a name like that? Weird stuff.
Back then a theme park of dinosaurs sounded very elusive. These days we have no need to pay in order to enter such places since the dinosaurs have spread around globally and they now virtually live in our backyards.
I got a robot dinosaur from JcJetson and they are pretty nice Hate my drone butlers though, especially that weird one I’m in Australia and gonna decommission it without any of those ridiculous instructions “Hazardous mutations” like no idiot Bye Cyn Anyway I’m just saying my thoughts
Yeah lol, I remember how it cost shit tons for my family and I to go to Jurassic World in 2014. Nowadays you can go on a ten minute walk down to the local park to see them for free.
Do you think the dinosaurs will ever make it to the mainland? Dinosaurs roaming where people are seems like a terrible idea. I heard about the San Diego incident. Scary stuff 🦖
There was a family, though I can’t remember their last name, who said they spotted a strange kind of reptile. It was near a coast, too. I don’t think these creatures were truly secluded to that island.
You know what would have been real smart. Send Muldoon to the bunker to restart the Power and *then* shut it down. It would have taken just as much time in total but the time spent without Power would have been very low
After the 1977 incident my parents moved out of America, moved to Australia so there was absolutely no shot a dinosaur could swim to mainland America. Only thing we have to deal with are the pterosaurs
Glad to finally see a video for Jurassic Park. Great job, one of my favorite movies. Will you be calling the videos for the second and fourth films "The San Diego Incident" & "The Fall of Jurassic World"? The video for Lost World can mention Malcolm went on to write a book called God Creates Dinosaurs about his experiences on Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna and Alan Grant also went public following San Diego and published his own book about the Nublar incident. 8:15 could have been the trio taking their picture in front of a sculpture. A guy on the train with Malcolm in Lost World looks like Donny Donowitz, who died in Operation Kino in World War II. So thanks to announcements you made in your videos, we know confirmed future entries are Cobra Kai, Beverly Hills Cop II, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World.

Rumor has it, Mr. Arnold actually managed to restore the power completely, but forgot that when a system restart is preformed it activates backup power so that a large enough charge can activate main power. Or so I read....
There was a former employee at Jurassic Park who did an interview in 1994 who said that he speculated that it was a man by the name of Denis Nedry who was responsible for the park’s downfall. The employee was a scientist who was specialized in extracting and collecting dinosaur DNA from fossilized Amber and would frequently visit the computer lab during his breaks, according to his accounts, he described Nedry as being “very talented in computing and hacking, but was a slob who was laid back at times” adding on that “he always had financial difficulties, always blaming John Hammond for his financial situation rather than being more fiscally responsible. If there was anyone who could’ve caused the downfall of Jurassic Park, it probably would’ve been Denis.”
no, it was those damn liberals protesting about the mistreatment of the dinosaurs. I tell you hwat, if my daddy was in charge of that park none of them damn things woulda got far. this used to be a proper country
The documentary brings up Nedry's attempted corporate espionage for BioSyn(which is undesputed fact), and his sabotage to cover his escape was no doubt a major contributing factor, and likely a needless risk at the scale committed(seriously, power to the entire park, save only the raptors? Why not spare a few other equally dangerous Dinos' pens, or other systems, half the park would gave probably gotten everyone distracted enough to get away with it while not letting some of the deadliest predators in Earth's history running loose). However, the fact that the Park was so easily sabotaged(yes, even by the software engineer who designed its cybersecurity), as is the subsequent damage the park suffered from the then Tropical Storm Iniki(you biuld a park, specifically a zoo, on a tropical island and the best strategy you have to deal with tropical storms is to evacuate visitors and staff to the mainland?), still some show major failings on InGen's part.
@brucewayne799 while death is always a tragity and being mauled to death in particular is a fate no one deserves, Denis Nedry being the only person who's family didn't get to benefit from the wrongful death lawsuits was a two pronged affair; 1) InGen used the fact Denis was committing Corporate Espionage and Sabotage to nullify their liability in his death. This is a long set precedent in cases like this, so this should be no surprise to anyone. 2) BioSyn managed to wiggle out of any liability for Denis's actions by arguing that they did not order him to preform the Sabotage activities he preformed, instead simply conceding to the Espionage charges and getting away with onky needing to reimburse InGen for the stolen dino embryos(a petty sum compared to everything else going on). This I will agree is a disgusting shirking of responsibilities, and a horrible precedent to set for future cases. While InGen wasn't completely faultless in those events, just as much if not more of your anger should be directed at BioSyn for talking your uncle into getting himself killed for only 1.5 million(sure that's a lot of money, but considering that Jurassic World was raking in at least 7 million in profits on a slow month, and over a Billion during peak attendance, BioSyn was shortchanging him severely for what he would have delivered to them if successful)
this is actually really good documentary, your commitment to the bit is admirable. Sub earned, showing this to my kids to convince them that Jurassic park really happened
If I remember correctly, one of the survivors, doctor Ian Malcom tried to tell the masses about what happened, but ingen silenced him(I don’t mean that they killed him, at least I hope not)
I love the way that the Ingen music distorts at the end of their “information clips” just like an old VHS tape would… it really adds to the nostalgic feeling of something that would be over 30 years old by this point if it were actually real.

I joined the marines after the San Diego incident, I remember seeing Hammond on TV telling people to stay away from the Islands. I served on a Quick Reaction Force, on day we got a briefing of some crash landers on the island of Isla Sorna. Alot of us were talking smack about lighting up some dinosaur but in all reality we were pissing ourselves, all too familiar of the stories of people being ripped apart and eaten by giant lizards that shouldn't exist in the first place. By the time we reached the shoreline the survivors met us halfway, it was a Teenage boy, his mom and dad( that kinda looked like William H. Macy) and the one and only Doctor Alan Grant. I was geeking so bad I swear I felt like a little kid I read his books so much growing up, I'm glad he's ok.. and that he never comes back to this dangerous place again
I love when people take the plot of a film and tell it in a TH-cam documentary style video like it was a real thing, it’s such an interesting concept of content
Damn!! I've heard a story in San Diego in 1997 where a dinosaur came into a neighbourhood, broke through fences and walls, ate someone's pet dog and terrified some neighbours too
The concept is cool, but the fact, that you're using the Jurassic World media and pictures (especially the picture of Blue) and mixing them inappropriately with Jurassic Park stuff, breaks the immersion.
Not necessarily immersion breaking, rather it has the vibe of an in-universe amateur documenter that used footage and images from JW simply because it was more widely available. I'd imagine there isn't a lot of publicly available media from JP, the park never opened so not much in the way of promotional material too.
I like this concept a lot. a bit of constructive feedback, though, tighten up the pacing. I know the conceit is that the audience doesn't know what Jurassic Park is, but it's probably better to treat it like a much-publicized incident than a corporate secret.
OMG i loved this video! All the little details were so fun to find, how you used old photos from the actors, the Jeff Goldblum interview, and omg the Total Rekall sponsor got me diying 😂. Can't wait for you to cover more movies like this
oh great, another alex jones type. shut up, these are not “crisis actors”. its so disrespectful to the victims of the jurassic park disaster to distort the tragedy for your “Conspiracies”.
I am Costa Rican and participated in student protests from the university during the late 1980’s against the government leasing the islands to foreign corporations against the environmental preservation laws for national parks. The students wanted to keep the island protected, but the government argued that the investment will support the development of the tourism industry. It seems they were right as Costa Rica is now one of the main tourist attractions in the world. Another industry that benefited from these investments was the microchip development industry, as even Microsoft has development sites in the country. The government also promised the students to create more opportunities and free high education to make the country competitive.
To be fair, my old professor knew the dude who programmed everything in the park. Apparently Hammond cut the budget and staff for everything including the security system. There was ONE electrician and ONE programmer both of which were doing WAAAY more than their job contracts said. Nedry was contracted to make ONLY the network code, but was cohered into making the rest of the park systems as Hammond had the only helicopter off the island. The damn electrician and engineer got eaten a week or so before so ain't nobody able to fix the power once it went out!
Excellent video man! It popped up randomly on my feed and looked interesting. Im glad i clicked on it! Now my wife says i cant watch anymore without her! 😂

Seems a rampage from a Cretaceous apex predator and a driverless car are commonplace in Southern California!
Apparently neither Hammond or the rest of Ingen shareholders had heard of the “Delos Incident “ several years back. A company named Delos ran an adult oriented high tech interactive Disney World in which for a considerable fee you could interact with realistically human like androids in a series of very adult oriented scenarios. One of the most popular was the so called the Westworld an old west themed attraction whose main hook included a duel with the “villain” simply called “the Gunslinger “ . For a long time the park ran successfully and without any hitch until a technical malfunction caused the androids to act abnormally causing some of them to hurt and even kill some of the guests. The PR dumpster fire that followed was so massive the company went not only bankrupt but it was virtually erased from existence and history.

My family planned to go back in 2015, but then the incident happened…
I was holidaying in San Diego in 1997, doing some night fishing off one of the piers. I saw the strangest thing. A massive cargo ship ran around, and unless the fog was playing tricks with my eyes, I swear I saw a dinosaur.

Good *things* come to those who wait
[/meta]

Sorry but most of the marketing from the world era goes against the park era. They should be kept seperate and not seen as a 6 movie series
My Mom actually worked for Hammond at Jurassic Park, she was the engineer who came up with the idea for self driving cars. Of course, she only told me this after the San Diego incident due to the non-disclosure agreement my mom signed.

Sounds like a scapegoat to me. They were all at fault.
Denis was my uncle he definitely was a scapegoat for the company
no, it was those damn liberals protesting about the mistreatment of the dinosaurs.
@brucewayne799 while death is always a tragity and being mauled to death in particular is a fate no one deserves, Denis Nedry being the only person who's family didn't get to benefit from the wrongful death lawsuits was a two pronged affair;
1) InGen used the fact Denis was committing Corporate Espionage and Sabotage to nullify their liability in his death.
