This is a really interesting era of Kiss. Peter Criss in his last concerts. The last of the old era Kiss until the reunion tour 20 years later. The next Unmasked tour had a very different vibe once Eric Carr joined the band and injected a whole new vigour with Paul also singing some Kiss classics in a whole new way. Wow what happened in the second solo on Detroit Rock city, did Paul's guitar die. A lot of dud notes being hit as well. That's why you rehearse.
great..saw kiss first time on this tour.....man i forgot how much radioactive sux..I didn't buy Paul's album and had to ask somebody where did that move on song come from
Me, too! At the concert that I went to (Providence, RI) they played "Let Me Go Rock n Roll" instead of "Radioactive". I didn't know "Move On" either, but I thought it was pretty rockin'.
What the hell is going on in that drum solo? Did Peter dip out to play Donkey Kong and they left his mic on? It's even worse than Gene's "bass solo" fuckery.
Around Destroyer Gene started making these ridiculous faces as if he really thought he was a demon . Pretty funny. I prefer early Gene kinda like Linda Blair.
Kiss never sounded tight until Bruce Kulick, Ace was great and quite original but very sloppy to this day, and with Paul jumping around all the time...
Excuse you but there's nothing sloppy about Ace frehley. There's nothing clean about rock and roll. Paul is sloppy and gotta keep looking at the fret board but still screws up
As I scrolled and saw this I thought KISS did a Christmas album that I never knew about.
@eric Yeah, those DYNASTY costumes really sucked!..
That's hilarious! Didn't Peter say that the Dynasty costumes made them look like Las Vegas show girls?
@@jeffkaufman9875ave costume was pretty cool (the best spaceman costume ever created imo), but yes the other three svck af
Merry Kissmas
This is KISS' "Disney on Ice" period. But it was more like "Coked out KISS on ice"
The guitar weaving between Paul and Ace is unbelievable anyone who says otherwise can lick it. Ace sounds great on back up vocals as well.
Probably the best New York Groove version
@@adrimusic9979 Best I’ve heard
The hottest band in the world, KISS! Seen them 31 times🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
They had an iconic groove.

A fascinating historical document
Very cool. Seen the Dynasty Tour Sept14, 1979 … Cincinnati OH. Good times.
Me too in Huntington, West Virginia
That guitar solo by Ace on 2000 man blew my mind!

Ace is fantastic.
Still sounds good to me.
did i hear it correctly after the intro to black diamond "got u under their thumb"..peter criss added..'and eat/is sh*t'..lol
“New York Groove”’s got a distinct “Willie And The Hand-Jive” feel here…
How and where did you get this??

The chain of command is booshit

@@danhickey5707did they play the full length version or the shortened one same as Japan ‘77?
@@adrisonfire00 oh, man, such a long time ago. But I'd have to say shortened because I do not recall the extended jam like the "Alive!" version.
I always hated Let Me Go Rock n Roll...
@@charlesbronson4282Man, the version on Alive! is hands down Ace Frehley at his best. He plays almost every lick in his arsenal and freakin kills it.
reylly good
🤠 Yeah! Neat! ♠️
Isn’t Ace supposed to be a plumber here?..
Tell me about it !! 🤣😂
@Eddie Indeed, sir!.. 🤣😂😅
Periscope???

Turn my mic on!!!

still better than the latest gene drooling and bl*wing the mic 🤣

Revenge lineup was the best, but KISS was at the minimum of their global interest.
