I'm liking the quality of these recent videos. The zoom out when you started talking about the games worked really well 👍🏼. Caesar is on my to buy list.
This years gen con had a lot of great games, but unfortunately I was unable to secure any games! I was able to get cosmoctopus though, signed by the creator!
Great list, and great approach to thetopic including games like Caesar! and Mille Fiori. My favorite of these here for straight-up area control is probably Kemet. Ethnos is my favorite that leans more towards area majority.
Kemet is superb! Actually I just bought ethnos at dice tower East and have been so excited to get it to the table! Thanks for commenting Chris! It was an honor to play pirate billiards at DTE with you!
Not really sure, I think I just get frustrated sometimes feeling like there's nothing I can do to come back against an opponent in area control games. Maybe that's a me thing though lol. I've noticed I've been enjoying games where area control is part of the game but not the main focus. And I like participating in area control stuff too so I'm not sure what it is exactly@@925Gamers
There should be a join button when you watch my videos or on my page in the sliding menu. If it doesn’t appear there you can use a computer to go on the actual TH-cam website and find my channel and join from there

Scythe is a fantastic game that I don't have the urge to play and when I have 5 players, I tend to go for wonderland's war.
Wonderland's War is on my to play list. Thematically, it looks amazing. My only worry is it looks heavy. Is there a learning curve with it?

Never been a huge fan of area control, but it's been growing on me. Been wanting to try more and more of them

He you tried Mission Red Planet :)? Its on the mean and crazy side of things but at lower player counts it is pretty strategic.
I have not! It's on my list of games to try at a convention soon hopefully

Like most area control games, the experience is best at max player count! I would recommend playing at 3-4 players
