@@sylviabeichert943 Did I do yoga!? 😁 If so I can’t say it’s be any good 😂 Thanks for for the comment, it’s definitely not something I always get to do but if a natural craft project can include a bit of all of those it can make it a fuller experience certainly!
Your welcome Debbie, really glad that you enjoyed it, and the VIEWS 😁 If you didn’t want to try something as big you can use the same method to make smaller vessels, like I’m currently making a small satchel/ handbag version. The beauty is that you can be creative and make whatever shape you want!
@@christinebarone2151 Thanks Christine! It’s certainly been useable! To make it even nicer to use though I’m planning on some more ergonomic straps and maybe additional pockets or a lid, not sure which to tackle first though 🤔
Great work once again! I never would have thought to make a backpack basket but it looks good, seems very sturdy, and definitely practical. What a great idea!
Cheers Ben 👍 I’ve just not used it a couple times and it holds up pretty well, although I wouldn’t pack it full of heavy stuff because that may cause damage. Perfect for some foraging materials and lunch!
Cheers 👍 One of the first basket I’ve made that I’ve actually got some use out of!! Filling the flat up a little now, Alicias says I need to start selling some 😁
@@whisperingworms Cheers 👊 I’ve never tried a cornucopia, it defiantly something on the list, especially as once you’ve mastered that style of weave where it can create kind of a tube there’s loads of other projects it’ll work for! @@IAMGiftbearer Thank you for the subscription, I’m really glad you like the videos! @@PTimbs Cheers Patrick!! Please take an image and share with me on insta when you have a go as I’d love to see! This took around 10 hours, but it could be done in about 6 without the boarder and if I was generally quicker, which comes with practice. Hope that helps!
@@feyasterling Thank you, it made me really happy to see you came and watched this video after the dandelion one because I put SO MUCH more work into this one 😂 Any random weave project you would like to see?
Its really difficult to say because it totally depends on how tight your weave is and how small you want the holes to be. This backpack used a good bundle of weavers (I'd guess at around 100 rods minimum) Also I've learnt it always takes more than you think!
I so enjoyed this video. Who knew you could incorporate basket weaving, yoga, bush walking & mindfulness all at the same time.
