I am in awe of this young man! Never have I seen such motivation and resilience. Nor have I seen such amazing scenery or scary exposure to cliff edges. His grasp of the English language is amazing too!!!
I came across your channel by accident and got hooked, its very enjoyable and inspiring....not that I'll be having a go...I'm 67 with physical limitations and my best is behind me so I'll just enjoy watching you.
This vlog has been quite inspiring to say the least. To know that you've had to overcome so many health issues and still indulge in your passion is very inspiring.
Thank you for sharing your story.I have had cancer twice. I can honestly say that all we can truly do is keep on keeping on and look for joy in every day things. Holding you in thought and prayer. Being g stubborn also helps. This is another gorgeous video. Thank you.
Wow the scenery was magnificent. You’re such an inspiration to anyone that has health issues, you just keep going, but you’ve got a long life ahead of you so please take care, spending more time on the farm would not be so bad. Love your videos.
I just came across your channel. I am 65 years old and have been a long time outdoors man. I was stationed near Nuremberg (West) Germany Sept.78-81 with the US Army. I snow ski and hiked in the Alps of Southern Germany and Austria when I was stationed there. Your videos bring back so many memories!! Stay safe and God Bless.... Tom L Buffalo, NY USA
I enjoy your videos so much. The fact that there is no music, only the sound of nature is great. Also, your accent, your calming energy and amazing English tops it off. I was in your neck of the woods last week. Visited Slovenia for the first time and stayed in Kranjska Gora 🏔️ Great mountains, landscape and friendly people. So happy you’re back with videos.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts! 😊 Ohhh I’m glad to hear you had a great time! Where are you from? :) And sorry for the late reply. Have been very busy the past few weeks, and I couldn’t reply to all of the comments at once 😅
Nothing can stop the champ! I'm watching this video with my morning coffee as my newborn is (finally) asleep! No better way to start the morning than with a video from the legend of the Alps! Love from 🇰🇷!

Youre as nimble as a mountain goat , i cant believe how easy you make walking along those narrow ridges look and hats off to yoiu for not letting your back oain defeat you.

I'm recovering right now from a sprained wrist. I've been out for a few months. Seems like forever. I climb, Rollerblade, and hike. It kills me to not be outside, but the bodies gotta heal, 4sure. I also work a laborer intensive job and understand the back problems. Lesson to learn: Don't let work get in the way, no matter what. This means rest/ rehab longer, listen to your body, and never give up hope. That's all we have in the face of danger. I love your videos, man. Keep the solo act. I, too, love the solo feel.
Such an inspirational young man. I have become engrossed by your videos and your story. Despite this video giving me some dizziness as you walked along the ridge line, I couldn't turn off the video as I was intrigued to hear the journey of you dealing with your back complaints. From someone 1000's of miles away in Australia, may I just say you have inspired me and touched my heart.

Andraz, you have a great will to defeat any medical problem. It is the most important resource, the will. I encourage you to go ahead. You are really young and you have all your life to live it. Medical care improve day by day. Show us all the experiences that we would like do. Congratulations for so magníficient video. An old mountaineer.
Wow! Just watched this video. I’m impressed with your tenacity. Actually, watching you climb down from the rocky ledges was heart thrilling and especially for a guy recovering from back treatment. I really enjoy your videos.
I am going through rehab for my knees right now and it has definitely gotten to me like you talked about in the video. I am feeling more motivated now thank you for sharing your experience.
Don’t worry brother, everything happens for a reason! This is just one of life’s many challenges that define a person, and you will overcome it, as long as you’re willing to put in the work and time :) In one of my next videos I will also share a bit more information about my rehab process, so I hope you will be able to learn something that might help you as well 😊
You've really sucked me in. I really enjoy your videos. You're right that ridge is like life. Ups and downs. I can only imagine your back pain. My wife has similar issues, and it affects her every day. Thank you for sharing this.
That was a truly inspiring monologue Andraz! I'm going to make my teenage sons watch and listen! I tore my ACL 3 years ago ( in a freak ski incident ) so I can appreciate some of the challenges and physio you've been through. Just subscribed and already hugely enjoyed 3 of your videos. I know the Scottish Highlands like you know the Julian Alps but now I live in Zagreb and looking forward to spending time in your playground over the next few years. Onward and upward!
I can relate to your problems, I got herniated discs 3 years ago. Went 1.5 years with pain without knowing what it was, doing big drops on ski, biking and taking lots of whippers climbing that probably made it worse. Got an MRI and confirmed it was herniated disc even though a physio told me 1 year before I didn't have it so I never got it checked out before. Doctors told me I should wait and do exercises before going for a operation. Went 1 year with exercises almost everyday but it didn't help much and my mental health was really bad. It sucks so much when you get pain and cant progress in the sports you love. Had an operation 3 months ago and its much better now but I am still really stiff and still got some pain while sitting, but I know its a long journey and I will come out stronger and smarter in the end! I wish you all the best for your progression!
Hey man, I totally feel you. We’ve got a similar story. My advice to you would be… Find a good physiotherapist or a specialist… and maybe even outside of the public “free” healthcare, because in my case the doctors were completely useless as well. I’m visiting a private specialist/physiotherapist, and if you’re from Slovenia let me know so I can give you a contact. Yeah, it costs a bit of money, but it’s worth every penny, because she knows her shit and actually cares about you as an individual. You’ve got this brother! One step at a time 🙏❤️
Andraz, I wish there was something I could do to help you. I feel so bad that you have so many physical disabilities. I'm not trying to sound like pity or sympathy; I'm just a very empathic person, so when I hear of someone hurting, I hurt. I'll send prayers and healing vibes your way. 🪄 I really enjoy watching your videos, and you're definitely an inspiration to endure the pain to do all the physical things you love to do. You have a very positive way of thinking, and that's awesome! Please keep making the videos because I definitely enjoy watching them. You got this! 🤜🏻🤛🏻🤝🏻🫶🏻💪🏻
O ... si nazaj? Lepo in upam, da si se zadosti porihtal 👏... prosim, pazi nase, Andraž. Mlad si še. Ne uniči si telesa. Vsekakor pa sem vesel, da si nazaj! Dobrodošel in želim ti še veliko lepih vzponov 👍. Jaz grem v torek za tri dni v Julijce ;)
Andraz, it is great to see you back in the mountains! Thanks fot this video, it is very inspirational as well as humble and honest, in a personal way. I appreciate that a lot (and I think I am not the only one here!). Fingers crossed for your rehab journey onwards. You've already achieved a lot and with your approach and determination, the road is all open for you. Stay safe, be careful and be mindful of your body. We will all look forward to your next adventures!
Great Video Anraz, so inspiring I was diagnosed with Degenerative Scoliosis at age 60 now. Have to keep it flexible with Pilates, so seeing you mountain climbing is a great motivator. I have had day's with not being able to walk and even then with difficulty with a walking stick. So for you to be doing what your doing is a fantastic achievement and very brave also 👍
I have some of the same issues with my back, surgery when I was 12 to put rods in due to scoliosis. (I’m 48 now) I can’t do the things you do anymore which is why I love your channel. Once I started having kids I couldn’t risk catastrophic injuries (i used to ride dirt bikes, always had riding horses, played sports, all the things they told me not to do; so I live vicariously through others now. 😊 A tip my doctor told me a long time ago was to stay active and to do your best to stay thin, I’ve not done either haha, so let this be my advice to you. Heed that because I know people who have been successful and they don’t suffer as much as I do with these issues. (I have other issues as well so it’s different for me) I do wish I would have stayed more active though.
glad you’re back and feeling better ! i always watch your videos while eating or before going to bed, had to start rewatching some but i’m happy the uploads are back
Glad to see you back Andraz! You may not have had the best genes for alpinism but you certainly have a strong mind to reflect and continue your journey. Keep up the adventurous life! 🏞
Found your channel quite by accident and immediatly subscribed. In this video, watching you running those ridges, and hopping along beside those precipitous drops had my heart in my throat and my balls trying to retreat back into my body. It's all so unlike where I live, which is mainly low rolling tree covered hills. Maybe the GoPro makes the dizzying heights and sharp dropoffs look more dangerous than they are, but I have my doubts about that. One loose rock or misplaced step could mean disaster. But you seem sure footed and like you know what you're doing. The scenery you show is spectacular and amazing wherever you turn the camera. Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous country and adventures with us.
Great video. Want to say many things, the mountains there in Slovenia are truly beautiful, I'm amazed by your ability to do such climbs, and the perspective you've shared here is very poignant and thoughtful. Truly, sometimes people get a bit cliche when talking about challenges or life, but your thoughts were very well put together and meaningful.
Love the content. Glad you got fixed... Hoping for some more delicious looking recipes to try with some incredible views to add to my bucket list. Thank you Andraz
I also learned to listen to my body a little bit late (in my 30s) but I'm glad I do now. I realized if I want to continue to do the things I want, I need to listen to what my body says. By the way, I've been on a binge watch of your videos after discovering your channel this week. Thank you for sharing and take care, Andraz!
soooo happy to see you in back at it🙌🤗 this is one of your best videos, you should know you are so inspiring most of the people would give up immediately but you show the world what dedication, strength and will is. Also the mental part is tough as you said, but you're doing so good nothing can stop you. Keep living your dreams (with stretching of course so you can keep on moving😉)
Thank you so much! 🙏 I really appreciate all the support on each step of my journey ❤️ If my story can inspire and change at least one persons life… then all of the efforts are payed off 😊
Stories like that are inspiring, when people despite their injuries/health problem still do what they love and what they can. I had similar situation with back problem in the past. During my high school age I felt pain when I was sitting straight or not, my neck also was in pain, I wasn’t able to have my neck straight without pain. Everyone told me same thing as to you ‘’you are too young to have problems with back, its not needed to go to the doctor’’, I went to the doctor anyway. It was great decision because I found out I had many back problems, scheuermann disease too. It’s from genetics what I was told, also it was occurring when I was kid so I didn’t know about it then. You can’t heal it but people from rehab etc told me I can live with it well if I do specific exercises. My neck wasn’t ok either, the bones there aren’t in angle as they should, that’s why I felt pain. Since then I’ve been doing exercises for this regularly, like 3 times per week for like 10~ years now xD Later when I got more into climbing and other things like more physical activity I always was focusing on warming up, conditioning muscles/joints for specific activities, stretching etc. I found out how to listen to my body, I have more problems with different parts of the body but I learnt how to work with that and how to be active and not make anything worse. Now I can sit straight for long times and I don’t have any back pain, my most problems are knees, more than back. I want to train parkour, some people could argue I can’t do it but I read and saw many stories about people who overcome knee problems and jump. I believe I will be training parkour, now I enjoy climbing and hiking because it doesn’t affect my knees as badly. Btw what’s the bug spray you are using? Amazing hike you made, it’s amazing to have so much experience and endurance, I would be afraid to being lost or not make the route on time. Much more experience to gain.
Thank you for telling your story! It was a pleasure to read it! 🙏 Your life story is very inspiring as well! At a young age you were already faced with so much adversity, but you managed to overcome it, and do the things that would seem impossible for most people with such problems. That’s why I believe you can also overcome your knee problems, because when there is a will, there is a way! Maybe you can’t be the best parkour guy in the world, but you can try to become the best version of yourself that you can achieve with the body you were given! Play it smart, and I’m sure you will succeed! The insect spray is from a Swiss brand called Just. And sorry for the late reply. I’ve been very busy the past two weeks, so I couldn’t reply to all comments at once 😅
Soo good to see you "back on track". I can easily imagine the joy you are feeling now. After accidents I have in longer rehab periods been forced to abandon my sport, paragliding. But always managed a comeback, like you have. Well done!
Thank you my friend! I wish you plenty more paragliding flights! Stay safe and well 🙏 And sorry for the late reply. I’ve been very busy the past couple of weeks, so I couldn’t reply to all comments at once 😅

thanks for sharing your story, you have the resiliency to overcome this i'm sure ! stretching and reinforcement can be a pain, but that's necessary, even for people that don't have pain in the back ;)

You’ve got this brotha! Make sure to let me know once you fully heal :)
I’ll remember you 😀
I found your video by mistake. I like it. +1 subscriber. Keep going, you are a beast.
Thank you my friend, and welcome aboard! 😊🙌
Thanks!
Thank you very much! 🙏😊
My advice to you would be…
Find a good physiotherapist or a specialist… and maybe even outside of the public “free” healthcare, because in my case the doctors were completely useless as well.
I’m visiting a private specialist/physiotherapist, and if you’re from Slovenia let me know so I can give you a contact.
Yeah, it costs a bit of money, but it’s worth every penny, because she knows her shit and actually cares about you as an individual.
You’ve got this brother! One step at a time 🙏❤️
@@andrazegart Thank you! I am from Norway, but I will definitely look into a private specialist.
Keep making rad videos man ❤️
Andraz, I wish there was something I could do to help you.
Hvalaa, cenim! 😊
Tudi jaz tebi želim en lep oddih v Julijcih! Uživaj, in pa varno seveda 🙏

Thank you my friend! 🙏

Thank you brother, for all the kind thoughts and wishes! ❤️
Sending kind regards and all the best to you from 🇸🇮
Welcome back 😁💪
Thank you!!! 😊
(I have other issues as well so it’s different for me) I do wish I would have stayed more active though.
glad you’re back and feeling better ! i always watch your videos while eating or before going to bed, had to start rewatching some but i’m happy the uploads are back
Thank you for the constant support! Much much appreciated ❤️
Glad to see you back Andraz!
You may not have had the best genes for alpinism but you certainly have a strong mind to reflect and continue your journey.
Keep up the adventurous life! 🏞
Thank you my friend!
I really appreciate the kind message 🙏😊
Thank you very much my friend!
I really appreciate your message 😊
Love the content. Glad you got fixed... Hoping for some more delicious looking recipes to try with some incredible views to add to my bucket list. Thank you Andraz
Kudos bro! came from a nice climbing Saturday to find out you're back at it
Thank you very much brother! 🙏
Keep on climbin! 💪
Welcome back, your my inspiration!
Much much appreciated! ❤️
Broooo you are the strongest ❤
Thank you! Much love to you too my friend 🙏❤️
Very happy to see you back and taking your injury seriously. I hope you can stay healthy and share with us your inspiring adventures!
Thank you!
This is just the beginning, it will only go up from here 🙏😊
Oh my goodness that view 😮 I could live up there permanently!
I really appreciate all the support on each step of my journey ❤️
If my story can inspire and change at least one persons life… then all of the efforts are payed off 😊
Stories like that are inspiring, when people despite their injuries/health problem still do what they love and what they can.
Your life story is very inspiring as well!
Finally! Go, Andraž! And don't worry, we got your back! 😉
Thank you my friend! Much much appreciated ❤️
I too suffer from lower back pain and am an avid mountain biker. I totally feel you on this video. Another awesome climb!
Stay safe and well 🙏
And sorry for the late reply. I’ve been very busy the past couple of weeks, so I couldn’t reply to all comments at once 😅

Tako iskreno in ganljivo si razložil situacijo glede tvojih zdravstvenih problemov da sem bila čisto ganjena. Tvoj pozitivizem in optimizem ti stoji ob strani. Si kljub svoji mladosti preprosto nekaj posebnega. Ostani tak uživamo ob gledanju tvojih prispevkov. Varen korak in zdravja ti želim 👍🤗
thanks for sharing your story, you have the resiliency to overcome this i'm sure ! stretching and reinforcement can be a pain, but that's necessary, even for people that don't have pain in the back ;)
