आर्थिक आव्हानांतून मार्ग काढत करत असलेल्या प्रत्येक नाटकाचे प्रयोग महाराष्ट्रातल्या गावागावात घडवून आणणं हेसुद्धा अतुल सरांच्या अनेक वैशिष्ट्यांपैकी एक.

कोणतीही कला हा एक संवाद असतो सबब कुमार गंधर्व माझे कितीही लाडके गायक असले तरी " मी फक्त माझ्यासाठी गातो ! " असले दृष्टीकोन मला आवडत नाहीत. कला ही आस्वादाशिवाय अपुरी असते .नव्हे कोणत्याही ट्रान्समिशन मध्ये रेसिपिअंट हा एका टक्क्याने अधिक महत्वाचा !
हे खरं आहे पण कुमार किंवा इतर जे कलाकार असं म्हणतात, त्यांना असा अर्थ अभिप्रेत असावा की कलेची निर्मिती, किंवा त्या कलेच्या आविष्काराची निवड इ. (कुठला राग इ.) हा त्या कलाकाराचा संपूर्ण एकट्याचा निर्णय असला पाहिजे. तरच त्या कलेच्या सादरीकरणातून श्रोत्यांचा कलाकारांशी खरा संवाद होऊ शकेल. नाहीतर होईल तो फक्त देखावा. कुमार जेंव्हा म्हणतात की मी माझ्या साठी गातो तेंव्हा त्यांना सांगायचं असतं की "मी गायक झालो ते माझ्या स्वतःच्या, आत्म्याच्या समाधानासाठी". ते फक्त कुठल्यातरी एका विशिष्ट आविष्काराबद्दल बोलत नसणार अर्थात. प्रत्येक सादरीकरण हा संवाद असू शकतो. पण एकूण कला हा संवाद नव्हे. गायकाचं, चांगलं असो किंवा वाईट असो, खरं गाणं होतं ते एकांतात. श्रोत्यांसमोर नाही.

Actually free and easy प्रश्न न विचारता प्रश्नावली मुद्दामहूनच नाटकाच्या पूर्ण life cycle वर आधारित ठेवली आहे. संहिता निवड ते प्रयोग. नाटकाची ही संपूर्ण प्रक्रिया आणि प्रत्येक कलाकाराची त्याला approach करायची निरनिराळी पद्धत डॉक्युमेंट करणं हा रंगपंढरीचा मूळ उद्देश आहे.
दुसर्‍या दिग्दर्शकाने मुलाखत घेतली तर आलेला दिग्दर्शक मुद्दे खोलात जाऊन समजवण्याऐवजी त्यांचा साधारण गोषवारा करण्याचा संभव आहे. कारण समोरच्याला आधीच बरंचसं माहिती आहे असं वाटणं! म्हणूनच आपण एकाद्या तज्ञाप्रमाणे नव्हे तर शिष्याप्रमाणे वाटेल असा मुलाखतकार घेतला आहे. Interview घेण्याच्या ह्या scientific प्रक्रियेला master-apprentice model म्हणतात.

Many transformation/changes in social and political scenarios are discussed. Has there been any effort to reason the reasons behind these changes. Were these just reactions towards lethargy or deliberate inconsideration (towards a class) or intolerant intellectualism?

आत्तापर्यंत मी रंग पंढरीची नियमित दर्शक राहिली आहे. हे चॅनल एक पर्वणी असते ...काही मुलाखती खूप उत्तम झाल्या काही छान ..!
हि मुलाखत अत्यंत निराशादायक ... very disappointing. ह्याचा दुसरा भाग बघणार नाही. बहुधा हिंदुत्वाला नावे ठेवणे...परत त्यात विशेष म्हणजे ब्राह्मणांना बोल लावणे हि कला जगतात आपण पुरोगामी आहोत हे दाखवण्याचे परिमाण असावे. जर अतुल पेठ्यांना मेधा पाटकर ह्या प्रगल्भ दृष्टीच्या वाटत असतील तर त्यांच्या प्रगल्भपणाबद्दल शंका उपस्थित करावी लागेल. नर्मदा आंदोलनाच्या पराभव नंतर ज्यांचा मोदी-द्वेष हा व्यक्तिगत द्वेष ...आंधळा द्वेष बनून गेला ..त्यासाठी आज त्या बंगाल मध्ये निवडणूक प्रचाराचा वेडगळपणा करत आहेत, त्यात त्यांची प्रगल्भता समजते . खरं ,म्हणजे मुलाखतीत प्रश्नांना उत्तर कलात्मक आधारावर देण्याऐवजी जेथे संधी मिळेल तेथे ब्राह्मणांना आणि हिंदुत्वाला बोल लावण्याचा प्रकार जास्त वाटला .

👌 apt comment. जसं नसिरूद्दीन शाह/जावेद अख्तर वगैरेंच्या अस्तीनातून अधेमधे त्यांचा इस्लामी चेहरा हळुच डोकावत असतो तसं काहीसं आपल्या मराठी पुरोगामी नाटककारांच्या मुलाखतींमधे (किंवा छटाकभर टाकल्यावर) ब्राह्मणद्वेष डोकावतो 😄
बरं, everything ब्राह्मणी = संकुचीत = सदाशिव/शनिवार/नाराणपेठी असं काहीसं ह्यांचं गणित असतं. ह्याचं परिमार्जन करणं म्हणजे नदीच्या पलीकडे जाऊन (पुरोगामी डेक्कन, कोथरुड, एरंडवन) रहाणं, ही एव्हढीच उडी!
माणसं चांगली आहेत, सज्जन आहेत, उत्तम कलाकृती निर्माण करतायत.. पण साला जातीवंत बावळट आहेत

Very disappointed with the interview, very little about the art of plays & more about hindu bashing, the basic premise of this person is tht whatever hindu/brahmins do or say is wrong ....the background of his choosing the tukaram play makes it obvious
Of the entire interview time maybe 3-4 minutes dealt with hindutva (which is quite separate from being Hindu) and Brahmins. All the rest of the interview was about plays and the technicalities. Or am i missing something?
@@nirvanabliss73 I have seen the whole iv, there were abt 4/5 incidents atleast which clearly bring out his negative/biased opinion abt Hindus or Brahimns. He definitely has a right to his views but when u run a channel which is abt natak/plays , stick to the subject please. One more thing I searched the net after this iv & didn't find any notable/popular or even commercially successful work of Mr.pethe. so why interview him ?? When many stalwarts r still remaining to be interviewed
@@Pepsyvlogs It was to your comment 'very little about the art of plays & more about hindu bashing' that i replied perhaps only 3-4 minutes deal with Hindutva and Brahmins, rest of the interview is about plays and its technicalities.
If he has aired some criticism of Hindus and Brahmins does that make him negative or biased. In a similar vein, If i say India is a very polluted country does that make me negative or biased against India?
If his politics is inseparable from his plays then how can he not talk about it?
As to why Rangpandhari chose to interview him, thats a valid q that only they can answer

In all these interviews no one felt the need to speak about their political ideology. Since he did, viewers are free to make an opinion about him based on their ideologies. If creators are going to be political, viewers should also be. This interview was the only one that left a bad taste in mouth. Unfortunate. This guy needs a life.

Sorry to say RangPandhari...but this is most disappointed interview as a honest audience i felt...whatever opinion this gentleman expressed here are seems to be very self centered and actually a "sankuchit" mentality ..though he tried to blame on all brahmin community for that and that is disgusting ... i am not supporting this community but there are two types in each and every religion,cast, and people ...one is extreme and other is non extreme ...so in ghashiram kotwal...the representation of extreme brahmin community ..and its true but.........then what about all other educated,sensible brahmin who are non extreme??? i am brahmin but i am not extreme... i am well educated sensible person and i am proud of what i am and i never judge people by their cast...... ...so he is saying that all brahmin community is bad then that is offensive....you cannot judge people by their cast...elese in his whole interview there is nothing to learn or grasp...everything was his opinion and actually its a boring and offensive and negative interview so far....i didn't feel positive while i was listing this gentleman ...sorry but its not worth it.....its not the Rang Pandhari level of interview ...i may harsh here but i just not feel good this time ...i hope this is the 1st and last time ...waiting for next positive interview ...
“he tried to blame on all brahmin community” > If he felt stifled by the typical Brahminical atmosphere (limited thinking), what is the issue? Obviously this was a generalization (according to his understanding) implying that there would be exceptions also (like he did the play on R.D. Karve).
Like if I say India is extremely polluted country, as a generalization it would be true on many parameters: air, sound, water, ground water etc. But obviously there would be exceptions. Now why should somebody be disgusted with my comment saying that India is extremely polluted?
