Homestead is an intense post-apocalyptic family survival drama. Ex-Green Beret Jeff Eriksson takes a job as head of security at an elaborate prepper compound, "The Homestead," as the world crumbles. Inside, they face resource wars and ideological conflicts, while outside, chaos reigns. Amid the mayhem, unity and forgotten truths emerge as love grows in unexpected places and the community strives to cultivate the land and fend off impending destruction.
I only go to the movies to see Angel Studios movies. Great actors and great movies

Loved the books! Angel studios will do them justice. A mainstream studio would have ramped up the violence 10 fold even though the books are violent.

Two of my favorite actors Bailey Chase and Neal McDonough. I’ve followed both of them for years. Loved Chase in Saving Grace and Longmire McDonough in so many tv shows. Loved the show Boomtown that he was in and also the medical show where they the medical team went into different ‘hot spots’ looking for the cause and source of the disease. Then all of the appearances both of these guys have made in so many shows. Angel studios found some great guys for this movie. .

@@njm5991 Honestly people have been predicting that future for 30 years. It's always coming but it never arrives. The reality is that the US is simply going to devolve into being Brazil with snow. Just another "economic region". There will be no grand collapse or shift into totalitarianism. Just more of the same while every year 1% of the middle class drops into the lower class.

@@njm5991 They aren't predicting anything. This movie is based on a series written by the Black Rifle Coffee company CEO and his buddy. The weird part is they are both main characters in the book along with their youtuber friends. It is really just a series they wrote to make themselves look "cool". The series is an incredibly weird read if you know who these people are. It is just their own end of the world fan fiction they wrote for themselves. It is very weird and incredibly egotistical.
Cannot wait for this to come out. The books are intense, and in our current environment, so very imaginable. If we get Angel quality production with quality Ross/Kirkham writing then this will be a must-see. Great trailer and really looking forward to a hard release date!!

Dude is awesome. He plays the villain in any Hollywood movies he's in so that he doesn't have to kiss or do a love scene with someone other than his wife. That's dedication. He's also a super nice guy, met him at a small comic con years ago. Chatted with me for ten or fifteen minutes as it was kinda slow.

The cinematography looks great.
Bailey Chase played a supporting role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer way back in the early 00s...I always thought he was a scene stealer and had great potential. It took a while but I'm thrilled to see him in a starring role with Angel!

The movie "Civil War" is coming out in April , what is your strategy of when you will release "Homestead" so it doesn't have to compete against a major studio release of survival of collapse of US
It's interesting. Both films have similar themes but their approach to those "end of the world", "end of the US" scenarios are completely different. There's more of an element of positivity and hope in the Angel studio production, it feels less nihilistic than Netflix's one.
This entire cast looks amazing! The actresses from NCIS LA & Major Crimes! Love them!
